"I didn't think that kid would still be alive," the man said to himself as he stood up from a pile of rubble after getting thrown across buildings by Kyron. He cleaned his white coat from the dusts of the rubbles, as he glanced at the battle between Stanley and Hafsa.
"Should I leave it? The group is pretty much dead even without my interference. The only one that could still fight is that laser guy, but it looks like that fireball lady might just kill him in a few minutes. One way or another, the monster is toast."
The man glanced away from the battlefield, thinking of leaving the place already, "Lord Farhan will be upset if I let this one slide." The man said to himself and abandoned his thought of leaving and redirected his attention towards the monster.
He saw the monster's purple eyes and couldn't help but wonder how strangely beautiful those eyes were as he launched himself towards the group, but before he could reach them, he felt it, an incredible aura, a violent one that was swallowing him alive, an aura that could only be felt in a presence of a Ruler. He stopped himself from going any further as chills running down his spine.
"A Ruler? Here?!"
He wasn't the only one who felt it, as Hafsa, Stanley, Amisha, Molly, and everyone else in that radius felt it as well. Amisha fell to the ground as the aura was so ruthless that it nearly drove her insane. But then another aura appeared, a calm one, a gentle one, the aura was far stronger to the point it managed to completely dispel the previous aura.
Amisha didn't need to think twice to know whose aura was that, as the baby beside her looked at her with an adorable smile. The monter's aura expanded to the entire place, resulting in everyone to stop their fighting as to how calm the aura was.
"So it is true then, the baby is the monster?"
"Huh?" Amisha turned around to see a man wearing a black coat. The man was tall, his hair was black, and his eyes were light red. She didn't even felt his presence before and yet there he was standing right behind her, he seemed to be curious of the baby. It took Amisha a few seconds to realize who the man was.
"You... you are..." the man ignored Amisha and continued to observe the baby.
"Hmmm, what a cute boy, well, for a monster I mean, welp guess I will have to kill him," the man said as he unsheathed his red blade and was moving pass Amisha towards the monster.
Amisha was about to stop him, but then she froze, she didn't know what was happening, she just couldn't move, she couldn't breathe, time seems to stop, it was like she was in a presence of a god, a majestic being that will not tolerance ignorance.
Amisha was struggling to even speak, as the man pointed his blade at the baby, raising the blade to the sky, preparing to bring it down at the baby's neck, but before he could do that, a laser blast from Stanley came straight towards him. The man was as calm as he could be. He continued to block the blast from Stanley with his bare hand.
Stanley was in shocked for sure, but before he could react any further, the man with the white coat appeared behind him, and stabbed him through the gut. Molly saw what was happening and screamed, "Stanley!" as she ran towards him in an effort to save him, but before she could reach him, a massive fireball fell on her, crushing her entire body in an instant.
It all happened so fast, Amisha was so helpless that she turned her head towards the only one who could actually fix the situation, which was none other than the unconscious Kyron.
But to her horror, the man with the white coat was already standing over Kyron's body, as he cut off Kyron's head, eliminating him as threat.
"Fyuh, I should have gone for the head the first time." The man looked at Amisha, cleaned his blade, and was preparing to kill her, but before he could even go near her, his worldview became dark.
He couldn't feel anything, he could see nothing, hear nothing, smell nothing, sense nothing. Then there were a pair of purple eyes appeared out of the darkness right before the man's eyes.
"What the-" but before he could finished his sentence, all four of the man's limbs exploded out of existence.
"AAAARGH!" the man screamed in pain as he fell to the ground. The man with the black coat stopped what he was doing to analyze what just happened.
"It was you wasn't it!" the wounded man yelled out, looking at the baby. "Hahaha, you.. you think this could kill me?! I am Hormidas Fanny, Lord Farhan's loyal servant, he has bestowed upon me the power to survive anything this world could offer, to heal any wound no matter how fatal it is, this is nothing but a scrat-" his head emitted a purple light and before anyone could react to it, his head was no more.
The man's headless and limbless body hit the ground, pouring out a river of blood. The man with the black coat stared at the body and smirked.
"Now that is interesting."
