'Looks like Gwen and I got sucked into the plot of the Spider-Verse.' I thought.

Even as Gwen and I continued to watch the memorial video and news surrounding my, well the Peter Parker of this realities, death.

Which is honestly giving me some complicated feelings.

Given I died once, became Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and am now faced with the death of "me" even if it is a completely different person.

Technically.

Yeah, this is quite the mind fuck I'll tell you what.

"Peter, what's happening?"

Only to be pulled out of my own mental musings when I heard Gwen speak to me. As well as begin gently tugging on my arm.

"Why are they saying your dead? I mean you're standing right here next to me?" She asked. "Wait, don't tell me we've traveled to the future?!"

Hearing Gwens' theory I moved to wipe a fake tear from my eye. "It's true what they say, they grow up so fast. To think you would becoming up with such wild theories on your one so soon." I mused.

Leading Gwen to punch me in the arm again.

"Peter, this is no time for jokes. This is serious." She said.

"Oh, believe me. I know." I replied. "And as to your question, I don't think we've traveled to the future. But if that is the case before we discuss things any further let's take this conversation somewhere more private."

"Where?" Gwen asked.

"A place I think should give us the answers we're looking for." I replied.

Even though I know for sure it would.

"Let's go to my house." I said.

Gwen nodding.

Once she did the two of us started heading straight for the Parker Residence.

Landing on the roof top of a nearby house, Gwen and I stopped and began observing the home of the Peter Parker of this reality.

Where just like in the film flowers and other items related to his remembrance and mourning were gathered together in a giant pile on the front of the house.

"Woah. The Peter of this reality really was loved huh." Gwen missed.

"Yeah." I replied. "But then again unlike me he was Spider-Man for an entire decade. All the lives he saved, the people he helped, it added up and thus this was born." I spoke. "I wonder, will I ever reach this level of respect and regard?"

"With the way you are Peter, you definitely will." Gwen said.

"Thanks." I replied.

I then gently slipped my hand into Gwens' own, the two of us sharing a lovely moment.

One that last for a minute before we broke apart.

"Alright, let's go." I said.

"Yeah." Gwen replied.

Once she did the two of us made our way down to the front door of the house.

After we did I stopped up and rang the doorbell.

Then a few seconds after I did it opened, revealing none other than Aunt May.

Well an older version of her.

Her face not showing any surprise upon seeing the two of us she flicked her gaze between me and Gwen briefly, before landing them squarely on me.

"Can I help you?" May asked.

"Yes, you can." I replied. Reaching up and removing my mask.

"Spider-Man!" Gwen cried when I did.

"It's fine Gwen." I told her. "I mean even if she isn't my aunt May she's still an aunt May, and if we want her help then we need to show her some trust." I quickly explained.

"Mhm, spoken like a true Peter." May mused. She then stepped back into the house and began walking. "Well, don't just stand there. Follow me."

Nodding I slipped back on my mask. I then stepped into the house after May, Gwen following behind me.

Then once she was inside I gently kicked the door closed behind us.

After I did the two of us easily caught up with May, who led us to the shed in the backyard.

Then just like in the film it opened to reveal an elevator inside.

"Woah." Gwen mused.

Hearing this May turned to her and smirked. "Oh young lady, you ain't seen nothing yet." She said.

Pulling off a clasic aunt May moment.

At least for this version of her.

Well I think my verion of May could pull it off too.

As I contemplated this the three of us stepped into the elevator and once we did it immediately began descending, taking us directly into the base of the Peter Parker of this reality.

Looking exactly as it did in the film.

Once this occured I used my HUD and began recording everything.

Since this base we're currently in is exactly how I want the Web back in my own reality to look one day.

I mean this place is even where I got the idea for the cases for my various suits.

Looking around Gwen was astounded. "Incredible." She mused. "And this is all under your home. How?"

"A little spatial manipulation technology Peter picked up during one of his many adventures." May spoke. "Modifying it he used it to create this place."

"Yeah, sounds like something I/Peter would do." Gwen and I said at the exact same time.

Just as the platform we were on reached the bottom, where the big screen, and obvious supercomputer, was located.

When this happened Gwen, May, and I stepped forward.

Though a few seconds after we did my Spider-sense triggered in a way unlike ever before.

I mean I knew the reason why, and expected it to happen, but actually experiencing this new sensation is an entirely different ball game.

"Peter, is your Spider-sense..."

"Acting unlike ever before. Why yes Gwen, yes it is." I replied.

"Not unexpected." May spoke. Stepping in front of us. "After all. You two aren't the only one who thought to come here." She spoke.

Then just as May did from the rafters of the base "they" descended.

Spider-Man Noir.

Peni Parker, also known as Sp//dr.

Finally Spider-Ham.

"Hey there kiddos, welcome to the party." Noir spoke.

"Yes, we are very happy to meet you both." Peni happily spoke.

"Yes siree." Ham added.

"Peter, you see the taking pic in front of us too right?" Gwen asked me.

"Yes Gwen, yes I do." I replied.

And to this situation I only have one thing to say.

"Hello there."

My words earning me another punch in the shoulder from Gwen.

But it was worth it.
