"Wait, so everyone over there is like you?" Misho asked, curious.
"Correct. Though, it's more appropriate to say that we integrated their bloodlines into our own just to survive the brutal elements of the frigid north," Fen Xiaoxiao nodded and explained.
"What exactly does your kingdom look like?"
"We're located at the Central Mountains where all of the rivers in our part of the continent come from. It snows there year-round and we have festivals every month to celebrate living in the frigid cold!" As she explained, a genuine, nostalgic smile blossomed on her face.
"I've been there. It doesn't sound as exciting as she made it out to be," Erika added.
Misho listened intently, genuinely fascinated by the rich lore of the Central Kingdom. For a brief moment, it was incredibly easy to forget he was inside a game. These princesses had entire histories, cultures, and burdens that shaped every move they made on the political chessboard.
