"I'll follow you anywhere, Quarter," Pear said, smiling.
"Hmph. I hate how loyal your other women are," Erika said.
Hearing her provoking words, Maia glared at her but didn't say or do anything. She kept in mind Misho's words, and it was the only thing keeping her sane.
"I'm thankful to them for that," Misho replied, genuinely smiling.
"Enough about your fickleness." Erika waved her hand in the air as if shaking off the thought.
"About the betrothal," Misho opened his mouth. "Why can't I simply run to the ends of the world?"
"I-If…" Erika gasped for breath. "…you did that, I will be really sad and lonely!"
"…Why?" Misho asked, not understanding.
Unlike her, he didn't grasp the significance of his betrothal since he was from the real world.
"People would think there's something wrong with me!" Erika shouted, shaking her head.
"…So I have to marry you against my own wishes?"
"Are you saying I'm a bad wife?"
"Well, I didn't even know much about you prior to this!"
