Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 He seems to be very caring

Her father once said a wife should obey her husband...

Isabella Joanna said a woman should not refuse any of a man's requests in bed...

So, this second, when Howard Geoffrey removed her hand that was helplessly resting against his chest, she chose to silently accept.

He began to bury his face in her neck...

All she felt was intense heat and an itchiness. As for what was to happen next, she was dazed but trusted he would lead her...

After a while, her pajamas were removed.

His fingers seemed filled with magic; wherever they touched, every sensitive nerve in her body tensed. She wanted to push him away, but this magic left her powerless to resist, even making her gradually want more...

"MMM..."

An instinctive moan escaped her lips, and she became more lost in it.

His kisses assailed her like a fierce storm. Suddenly, they were rolling *under the bed*...

She felt as if she were an innate guide in this, making her completely forget her shyness and the fact that this was her first time, only wanting to explore further...

Suddenly, a source of heat pressed against her lower body...

At this moment, even if she was still dazed, she knew clearly what was about to happen...

However, just as they were about to unite, she suddenly reached out and pushed him away.

Gasping for breath, she apologized, then wrapped herself in the bedsheet and rushed frantically into the bathroom. She pressed her body tightly against the bathroom door, her innocent face still flushed from moments before, her breathing heavy, and her mind a chaotic mess.

She had clearly been mentally and physically prepared. Why, at the very last moment, did such an inexplicable fear rise from the depths of her heart?

That fear was like the terror she'd felt as a child after watching a horror movie about a demon tearing humans apart, a fear that had kept her awake for several nights...

Why did she have this feeling? They were so hot, so close, yet as they moved towards greater intimacy, she felt a chill that fundamentally shouldn't have existed...

Suddenly, she realized, I don't seem to know the man before me well enough...

Although she had never made choices regarding the major events in her life, those past decisions had always been about minor incidents. But the man she faced now was someone she was supposed to spend her entire life with. She couldn't be so thoughtless. Her values were very traditional. If she gave her first time to him, she would inevitably love only him for the rest of her life...

How could she be so casual about something so important?

After a long time, Rebecca Quentin finally composed herself and stepped out of the bathroom.

The heat in the room had long since dissipated. Howard Geoffrey was already dressed and standing by the hotel's floor-to-ceiling window.

Thinking he was angry, she clutched the bedsheet around her and moved behind him, apologizing, "I'm sorry... I... I wasn't ready."

Howard Geoffrey turned around. Surprisingly, there wasn't the slightest trace of anger on his handsome face. He just quirked his lips into a smile. "Silly girl, you should have told me sooner if you were scared."

The nickname he gave her was comforting, making her feel even more embarrassed.

He gently kissed her forehead and said softly, "Go change. I'll take you out for breakfast."
