Rebecca Quentin chuckled softly, "I haven't even thought of him occasionally in the over twenty days since I returned from France. Do you believe that?"
"I believe it."
"I actually thought you would say you don't believe it..."
Chester Robinson gave a faint smile, "I was reflecting on you and him, wanting to talk about what happened in France."
Rebecca Quentin immediately sat upright, "Did you find anything?"
"No, there were too many people that night, it's impossible to know who tampered with your drink. I even had people investigate the waitstaff, but none were suspicious."
"What about the waiter who lied to us?"
"The very night I called to question him, he resigned. We can't find any trace of him now."
Rebecca Quentin slumped back into her chair, "Looks like it's going to be very hard to find out anything..."
Chester Robinson spoke earnestly, "I will continue to investigate, there are always traces to be found."
