Chapter 816 - Chapter 795 [ Great Schnee Maze - XV ]

Yue broke down in tears as she hugged the blond, who simply stroked her back.

This took a few minutes for the vampire princess to calm down and return to normal, again demonstrating the enormous control she had over her emotions.

"Are you okay?" - Cloud asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, I'm better, although now that I've released everything I had inside me, I feel like something weird happened, or rather, that voice was different from the one that had made us fight during the first half of the maze," Yue said with a frown.

"It's because that voice wasn't part of the test" - answered Cloud while gritting his teeth - "That voice was from a creature locked at the bottom of this labyrinth, an entity that has been asleep for much longer than we thought, as for why that thing tried to make us fight each other, it's because it's possible that it needs a lot of blood to be able to break its seal"

"I see..." - Yue muttered as she felt her fury growing with each passing second - "That thing not only got into my head, but also made me create a problem out of nothing..."

Yue was angry, no, stop that, she was furious, angry, she just wished for the death of the bastard that made her act this way.

Cloud simply kept silent as he shook his head - "We can talk about this later, right now I have to go stop Shea before he does something stupid"

"Ok" - nodded Yue as the two walked over to where Tio and Shea were - "I don't know why this doesn't surprise me..."

Cloud let out a sigh as he watched as Shea was writhing on the ground.

"This isn't as much fun as I thought it would be, I guess I'm more of a tie me up to tie me up" - Tio said as she nodded in the rabbit girl's direction and analysed her work a little. Yes, she had managed to capture and tie up Shea, that was why she was squirming.

"Oh, I see you managed to calm Yue-san down" - Tio said as she saw the blond walking with the vampire girl, although her expression changed when she noticed the hole in her beloved master's clothes, which still had traces of blood on it - "Do I need to know? " "

"No, it's nothing important" - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "That aside, I think it's time I had a personal talk with Shea"

"Ok, she's all yours" - Tio replied as she shrugged as she watched Cloud take the rabbit girl away.

"Get off me, I have to prove my worth!" - Shea roared as he continued to squirm.

Cloud shook his head before continuing to walk to a slightly distant spot.

"Are you okay?" - Tio asked as she looked at the vampire princess.

"Yeah, just a little upset that I let myself be influenced so easily," Yue replied with a frown.

"You don't have to feel bad about yourself, those words must have been terrible" - Tio said as she raised an eyebrow.

"They were, but that didn't mean I had to get out of control, I've trained my emotions too much during my time in the abyss for someone to influence me like that, that's why I feel twice as terrible" - Yue replied as she closed her eyes - "Besides..."

"Besides?" - Tio repeated curiously.

"No, it's nothing..." - Yue muttered as she shook her head.

Tio was silent before deciding it was best not to say anything more, after all, if she didn't want to talk, it was best not to meddle any further in matters that were none of her business.

15 minutes later, Cloud returned to Shea, who was jumping up and down with happiness.

Yue frowned slightly while Tio raised an eyebrow, after all, they weren't expecting such a drastic change.

"I know, they're confused, but we'd better leave this for another time, now we have to go to the others" - Cloud said as he shook his head.

"Ok" - nodded the three women, who watched as the blond walked in the direction of the makeshift camp Kaori had set up.

"I'm sorry for acting like a wild animal," said Shea as she looked at her two companions, "The truth is that I let my insecurities and desire to prove myself take control of my actions

." "No, I also have to apologise for letting my emotions get the better of me," replied Yue with a conflicted expression, "Putting that aside, how is it that you managed to resist that voice? "

"It's because I was always on guard" - Tio answered seriously - "If it wasn't because I was aware all along that it was possible for the maze to affect us, I would have ended up just like you, although there is something that was bothering me, and that's the fact that that voice didn't seem to be the same one that affected us in the first half of the maze"

"It's because it wasn't" - Yue answered seriously.

"It wasn't?" - Shea asked in surprise, though she quickly frowned because this answered her doubts.

[Strange... this presence is unlike anything I've programmed into this labyrinth...]

A youthful, slightly annoyed voice echoed in the room, though there was no silhouette to mark the presence of the person responsible.

[Did something get in the way of my arrangements?]

The voice seemed to be confused.

[I'll have to check carefully... although it's a surprise that another group made it this far, I mean, the last team that made it into my maze was a team full of demons, and in this one, I can sense the presence of a vampire, two dragons, a Dagon, a human and Ehit's foul scent...]

The voice now seemed to be showing its growing irritation and interest, the latter because the challengers seemed to be aware of this detail.

[And if they know that Ehit is their enemy, then there must be a reason I don't know of for them to have brought in a herald of the mad god...]

"Where am I?" - Remia asked as she slowly opened her eyes.

"In the labyrinth after surviving a shot to the heart," Cloud replied as he stepped in front of the woman.

"Shot? Heart?" - Remia repeated as she felt like she was forgetting something - "Someone attacked me?"

Cloud was silent before nodding - "Yes, but we managed to save you"

"I'm sorry..." - Remia muttered with difficulty - "I'm sorry, if it wasn't for me, we would have reached the final room by now."

"No, you don't have to apologise," Cloud said as he stroked her cheek, "Your safety is much more important than completing this maze."

A small smile appeared on her face when she heard this because she could feel the love in his words.

The other girls simply kept silent because they knew it was better not to say anything in this situation, after all, it was better that she didn't remember anything.

"Are you okay, you don't feel any discomfort in your body?" - Shea asked as she looked carefully at the woman.

"No, I feel fine" - Remia replied with a faint smile as she tried to stand up, only to show a small grimace of discomfort - ". . ."

"You don't have to overstrain yourself" - Cloud said as he shook his head.

"I'm sorry" - muttered Remia as she grabbed her heart - "The truth is, I feel an uncomfortable sensation in my heart, as if something warm was pulsing with every beat"

Cloud was silent as he placed his hand on the chest of the light blue-haired woman, who simply closed her eyes and let him do his job, after all, she wasn't an innocent child to make an issue out of something as simple as this, besides, she couldn't feel any sign of lust for her beloved, so it was obvious that he was just checking her condition.

The other girls raised an eyebrow, though they nodded when they saw that the woman was acting her age, in fact, they all looked at Shizuku, who only averted her gaze, demonstrating that what they were thinking seemed to have been conveyed in full.

"Why didn't they look at me?" - Kaori asked with a frown.

"Because you're a pervert, it's obvious you'd jump at the chance..." - Yue replied neutrally.

"That's not true!" - Kaori exclaimed, though the sceptical look on her classmates' faces told her that they weren't buying her bullshit - "You're bad, girls..."

"No, we're honest," Yue replied as she clicked her tongue.

Cloud gave them a look, though anyone could see that he was relieved that everything was back to normal, though that didn't mean he had nothing to fix when they left this place, in fact, he had thought about taking a little break after this so he could explore his relationship with his group a little more, after all, he had acted like a jerk.

"Cloud?" - Remia asked as she looked worriedly at her beloved.

"No, it's nothing" - answered Cloud as he shook his head - "I was just thinking about some stupid things"

"Ok?" - Remia decided not to probe further into the subject, she simply lay back and let her body slowly heal.
