Diene let out another sigh before nodding - "I understand, though when I'm done, I'm going to want you to never see me again, I'm saying this for your sake"
"Sorry, that's impossible" - Meiru replied while shaking her head - "You're my sister, and I love you, that's why I'm not going to lose you again"
"If you don't promise me, you're going to force me to use one of my powers that will make my situation worse," Diene said seriously. She wasn't lying when she said this, she really was willing to put her life on the line with this, just to spare them both suffering.
Meiru bit her lip before nodding - "Diene, we can help you, even if I can't do it myself, I'm sure someone from my team can"
"I'm sorry, but it's impossible" - Diene replied regretfully - "My problem can't be solved with magic, neither with the intervention of the gods... my problem is because of the very laws of the world that are rejecting me for being an anomaly"
"Anomaly?" - Meiru repeated with a frown.

"No, just telling me that someone important to her needed help, and from what I can see this is more complicated than I thought" - Cloud said with a frown.
"Can you do anything about it?" - Meiru asked with concern, after all, this was her last chance to be able to save her younger sister.
Cloud was silent before asking the girl about her situation to be sure, only to receive the same answer as Meiru, which caused him to frown even more.
