Chapter 381 - Right Their Wrongs

"Ezekiel," Baba stood in the doorway of his cabin. Confusion was written all over his face as he held the door frame with his left hand. It was evident I had woken him up. His hair stuck up in all sorts of directions and he was dressed in his pyjamas.

I would probably be shocked too to see someone at my house in the middle of nowhere at nearly five in the morning. Often I visited Baba in the afternoon and I always warned him. This time I didn't think I would be able to properly dial his number without my hands shaking.

I was halfway out of my car. Unsure whether to go to him or just climb back in. I was ashamed. So very ashamed that for all these years I contributed to my fathers torture. Out of all the people in the world, his son should have been with him and just like Mama I had jumped ship.
