The moment Akira and Gena came back from the mission Cyrus and them were to carry out together, I lunged at them to share the new news.
To say they were disappointed was an understatement.
Three days later...The venue for Pseudo Hell was decided.
The Sahara did not scream when Hell touched it.
It breathed.
I stared at the crew appointed by Janet to clear up the entire space. Every living organism either taken away, re-homed, or either taken as bait for other purposes. Who knew sand creatures made excellent bait to hunt Shifters in other terrains? Talk about instinctive hunting. Humans were always good at that.
My head turned to Cyrus who overlooked the operation like he was the leader. Meanwhile I was chilling on my sand bed, umbrella shielding me from the sun and a drink in hand.
