Everyone was on edge after the fight, especially the ladies. Most of them had barely done anything but watch while Ren, Nikolai, and Silvia handled the Lava Ants like a walk in the park.
The only one who looked completely unbothered was little Pii. The fluffy creature wagged its tail, fluttering around happily as if none of this danger applied to it. It occasionally dipped close to the ground, sniffing for food—or treasure—while everyone else tried to catch their breath.
"Alright, huddle up," Ren said after they gathered the ants' loot, EXP, and gil.
The amount they got was tiny, hardly worth celebrating. Only four Lava Ants meant four ways to split a meager reward.
Still, the group circled up obediently.
"How are the durability of your weapons?" Ren asked.
"Durability?" Rosie blinked, pressing a finger to her chin before opening her inventory. "Oh, you mean this little number next to our weapon? Mine says seventy-five out of a hundred."
