The next day the sun shined from the window waking gadze up. he looked disturbed. he wanted to sleep in more but without losing any time realized that the school acceptance letter may have been delivered.
gadze quickly got up and dressed to see if the letter was delivered. he ran down the stairs and asked brenda if the letter was delivered.
Gadze: "brenda brenda did the letter arrive?"
Brenda: "I'm not sure I sent Suzy out to check"
suzy is Brendas daughter. she has brown hair and brown eyes. she has slightly better than average looks but is counted as one of the most beautiful girls in the area because of her angelic personality.
Gadze: "ooh I can't wait. when do you think she'll be back?"
Brenda: "I don't know exactly. but I've called some people who I think can help you prepare for school."
Gadze: "what do you mean?"
Brenda: "well the combat school isn't as easy as you think. there's a hierarchy there that depends on the students themselves. for some, it's easy to just manage. but for others, it might as well be hell for them."
Gadze: "wow I didn't think it would be that scary"
Brenda: "well it is. so I called some of my adventurer friends who went to the combat academy to give you some tips as well as prepare you. come on let's go meet them."
Brenda took Gadze to the dining room. there he saw adventurers eating and talking to one another.
the inn Brenda owned also had a pub connected to it so it was where many adventurers went to relax.
Brenda: "here they are. this is jack a B-rank adventurer."
she introduced a normal height young looking man. he was thin but with blonde hair and blue eyes. he looked like an older brother. he had an optimistic smile. he was dressed normally but looked like a swordsman.
Gadze: "wow are you really a B-rank adventurer?"
Jack: "hey there kiddo. yeah, it was hard work. Brenda told me all about you. she told me you were interested in the combat school."
Gadze: "yeah I heard it's a real tough place."
Jack: "yeah it was. I gotta tell you it's a whole new world in there. I met some monsters that I still think can beat me even if they didn't get stronger after school."
Gadze: "it's that bad huh?"
Jack: "oh don't worry me and my party will prepare you for school just in case. cmon I'm gonna introduce them to you."
Brenda: "alright I got a pub and a inn to run so take care of him for me jack."
Jack: "will do"
Jack brings Gadze to his party table and introduces gadze.
Jack: "hey guys this is the kid brenda was telling us about his name is gadze."
unknown lady: "well hey there gadze"
jack: "that's my sister, Vanessa"
Vanessa seemed to be the same age as jack. she looked like jack but more lively and energetic. she looked like a swordsman like her brother.
Jack: "the silent one over there is raven. she's an assassin."
raven had pale skin and black hair. with black eyes that look bored. she was dressed in all black and had a thin build to her.
Jack: "the bald one over there is our monk goro. he may have a stone face but trust me he's super nice."
goro looked like a normal person. he had his eyes closed and wore an outfit similar to the Shaolin monks.
Jack: "This shy-looking one is umi. she may look weak but trust me she's a B-rank mage."
Gadze: [wow that's amazing! not one but two B-rank adventurers in one party]
Umi looked like a frail girl with short violet hair. she dressed like a powerful mage with a giant mage hat.
Jack: "this unpleasant-looking jerk is David. he acts nice but trust me he's a gremlin in disguise"
David: "shut it you jackass I'm not a gremlin don't scare the kid."
David looked taller and thinner than jack. he had a long-looking face that suited him. he had brown hair and black eyes.
Jack: "And lastly our biggest and strongest... in strength wise I mean is this guy right here. His name is galoth."
galoth looked like a tanker with a tall and muscular build. he had brown hair and a brown long beard. with bright brown eyes.
Gadze: "well it's nice to get to know you all"
Galoth: "same here kid"
Jack: "guys we'll be preparing gadze for the combat school."
David: "wait what? who died and made you the boss?"
Jack: "the last I remember I beated you in our dual so you don't get to say anything."
David: "why you" looking angrily at jack
Raven: "I don't understand why should we even train this kid anyway?"
jack: "because brenda asked us to do it. and we all owe her a lot"
Vanessa: "well I guess we gotta do this. hey kid do you have your examination scores?"
Gadze: "oh yea hold on let me get it"
he searches for it in his pocket and gives it to them.
the party takes a look.
David: "well these stats aren't that great. but they're better than most average kids. you got two E-ranks in something apparently most of the normal children only have one or even none. but why the hell did they give his overall potential a C-rank?"
Jack: "I guess they saw something in him. don't worry kid we'll make sure you become strong so you don't get your ass handed to you at school."
as jack was talking to him Suzy enter the pub searching for him.
Suzy: "gadze your letter is here."
Suzy hands the letter to gadze. they all stand behind him trying to see what the letter had written in it.
The letter: "dear gadze we would like to inform you that you have been accepted into the combat academy. you will be appointed in F-class. we congratulate you on this endeavor and hope to see you in two months. everything will be appointed for you. the rooms food and the most important guidance."
Gadze: "I... I MADE IT"
everyone behind him congratulated gadze with smiling faces.
Brenda walks into the room
Brenda: "what's all the ruckus about?"
David: "brenda the kid made into the school"
Brenda: "well that's just wonderful. congratulations gadze."
brenda shouted: "hey everyone this kid just made it into the combat academy so the next round is on me"
the adventurers all yelled out in happiness and congratulated gadze
one of the random adventurers: "this causes for a celebration let's party!"
Jack: "careful kid when we adventurers party we drink until we're drunk."
David: "shut up jack it's this kids day today of course we're gonna get him drunk too"
David lifts gadze and takes him to the other adventurers. they hold him down and pour liquor in his mouth.
Jack: "hey knock it off he's just a kid"
as jack was about to stop David galoth stopped him.
Galoth: "David may be a slacker sometimes but he's got a point this time let the kid have his fun."
Jack: "ugh fine but he's gonna be feeling terrible the next day."
