Nepheline sighed in relief, glancing around her surroundings. The entire formation she and her husband had created had entrapped over a hundred thousand giant blazing ants.
They kept coming from the ant nest itself, so their numbers continuously replenished. Because of their strange spiritual and beast aura abilities, they were quite tough nuts to crack.
"Aquarina! Thanks for helping me, dear. I might've gotten cocky before. Without your help, I would've taken much longer…"
Nepheline recognized that her daughter had helped more than she would've wanted to admit. She really just wanted to warm up fighting on her own, but in the end, they were short on time. Her daughter's aid, although reckless, ended up coming in clutch.
"Ah, so now you're happy I helped?" Aquarina asked, crossing her legs as she sat on a mountain of corpses. "You were acting all cocky before, mom!"
