How does one convince a god to grant them a favor? By endlessly praying to such a being until it finally recognizes you? Or by setting out to do what it wants you to do?
To subjugate it and show power over it? Or by deluding yourself that it understands you and will eventually give in to you? How does one actually convince a god-like being to do something for you?
Is it necessary for one to be part of their family and be forced to do a set of trials to be worthy of the title of heir? Perhaps.
Is it necessary for one to be powerful? To be determined enough to survive horror beyond human comprehension just to be granted an audience? Definitely.
Is it necessary to have some previous, dark history with said godlike being? Enough to convince them you're a threat? Enough of a threat for them to be extremely hostile to you?
