Chapter 2 - 2 New Life

After wishing me good luck, God made me disappear from his dimension, and I woke up inside a room in the middle of the night. Just as I was about to get my bearings, my mind was instantly filled with memories of the past four years of my body in this world. Yes, up until this point, my body was in autopilot mode, thanks to God.

My name is Haruto Nakamura, but now I'm just Haruto; I'm an orphan—abandoned, to be exact. I didn't manifest my quirk at the age of four, so my lovely parents, who have been firm believers that I would manifest a powerful quirk, abandoned me in an orphanage. I do remember their faces clearly now. During my first year in the orphanage, I wandered around the area so much that I even went hiking in the mountains near the orphanage. The matron did try to make me stop it, but I went on my own, like there was something that I had to do there. And one day I met up with a person; his name was Touya, and we became friends somewhat, and that was yesterday.

Now that I have woken up and I'm friends with Touya, I decided to help him and not make him the future villain, Dabi. I know he's cool with his blue flames and he has an amazing backstory, but this is real life for me, and all the people here are living, breathing beings. I can't see them as characters from a book or manga. I will do what I can to save him from going rouge due to resentment towards Endeavour.

I know Endeavour is a shitty dad and husband, so I'll have to punish him for treating his kids like they don't exist at all and hurting Rei emotionally. And what is the best way to do that other than expose his abusive nature to the public? The HPSC will try to handle the situation, but they will fail for sure. Since I can access my other wishes before my quirk manifests, I'll expose my endeavour and save Touya from becoming a villain.

So I decided that I'll meet with Touya tomorrow and tell him about my life. In that way, maybe he'll try to think about the things he's done so far and mull over them. In the meantime, I can make him stronger using the perfected Extermis serum. Since it's a virus, I can't get it from the resource realm, so I'll have to make it from scratch. After deciding what to do for the next few days, I went back to sleep.

----------------------------------------

I woke up as I heard the knocking on the door, so I got up from the bed and went to check who knocked on the door. But as soon as I opened the door, I was met with water on my face, and I heard some kids laughing their asses out. I looked at him and said, "What are you doing?"

"We're waking you up, useless." Saying that they ran away from the corridor.

Not minding what they had done to me, I went back inside, cleaned myself, put on new clothes, and went downstairs.

Reaching the dining room, the matron looked at the clock and said, "You are late again, Haruto. Next time you won't get food as punishment, okay?"

"Okay," I replied.

After taking a bun and a glass of milk, which is the breakfast for kids in the orphanage, I went and sat down in a corner where I usually sat. After finishing the food, I went outside so that I could go to the Sekoto peak to meet with Touya.

Seeing Haruto leave the orphanage compound, the matron said to herself, "There he goes again."

Seeing him leave the orphanage compound, one of the new workers in the orphan asked the matron, "Why are you letting him go outside but not the other kids?"

"It's because he goes out to wait for his parents. They left him here by saying that they would come to take him back."

"So, won't he do something with his quirk if not under supervision?"

"Since you are new I'll tell you something. He was abandoned by his parents because he was quirkless. So you don't have to worry about him making a scene by using quirk."

"Alright."

After some time, I reached the Sekoto peak. I looked around to find him, but I couldn't, so I waited for him to come. After a couple of minutes, I heard footsteps, so I looked where they were coming from, and I saw Touta walking with some injuries on his face and hands.

Seeing me, he said, "You are here again?"

"Yeah"

"Why?"

"Because you are the only friend I have."

"Come on, kid, I've been over this. You are the same age as my little brother, so you won't be my friend. But what do you mean by your only friend?"

"Because I don't have a quirk and because my parents left me in the orphanage."

"Wait, you are quirkless?"

"Yeah, is it a problem?"

"No. It's just a surprise to me, that's all."

"So, will you be my friend?"

"Yeah, I will. Don't worry."

"So what happened to you?" I asked him, pointing at his injuries.

"This, ah... well, this happened when I used my quirk beyond my limits."

"Why?"

"So that I could get acknowledged by my father."

"But you can't handle it, right?"

"I can't now; that doesn't mean I won't be able to forever."

"Yeah, but what will your mom do when you hurt yourself so badly?"

"Ah, kid, whose older here, you or me?"

"You, of course. I'm just asking, Won't your mother be sad if you hurt yourself every day?"

"She will. Yes, she will be sad."

"Then why are you doing this?"

"Like I said, to get my father's acknowledgement."

"But by doing so, you are hurting your mother. Think about it. What will happen after your father acknowledges you?"

"He'll ..... "

"You don't know, right? So instead of aiming for that, why don't you try to make your mom cheer up? I'm only saying this because I don't have mom to cheer me up; she abandoned me." While saying that, I shed some tears and walked away from them without even waiting for his reply. While we were talking, I made some microrobots with the camera's latch on to them. When he reaches his home, it'll record everything, and I'll send the videos proving that Endeavour is a domestic abuser to the news channels and post them on the internet.

Hearing what the kid who he met for the second time in his life said made him think, 'What have I been doing all this time? Always avoiding mom and distancing myself from my siblings so that I could train my quirk so I could be acknowledged by my father. But after that, I don't know what will happen. Will my father train me or will he ignore me again? But my mom has been emotionally weak for some time; if I don't mend my relationship with her, it'll be bad.' Thinking all this, he walked back to his home so he could mend his almost broken relationship with his mother and siblings, without the knowledge that ten to twenty microrobots had latched on him.
