The parents' faces turned, and someone immediately shouted:
"Even though the fault initially lies with these kids, he injured them over such a small conflict. This clearly shows an antisocial and dangerous personality. Who knows if he'll murder next time!"
"If he had been any rougher, and any of these kids had an accident, would we still be here talking about a private settlement?!"
Charlotte Allison glanced coldly at the person speaking. Her voice was icy: "You have no right to judge what kind of person Lucas Quinn is."
The person speaking felt a chill from Charlotte's gaze. The harsh words stuck in their throat like pieces of ice and couldn't come out.
Though that person was silent, others chimed in, still insisting on placing Lucas Quinn at fault. They had come together today to stand up for their kids, right or wrong, because they had all been paid off!
