Charlotte Allison and Lucas Quinn were eating at the school canteen.
Sitting in the open-air seats on the rooftop, since it was almost past lunch time, the canteen was sparsely populated, and they were the only ones at the rooftop open-air seats.
They ordered seven or eight small dishes, each holding a bowl of rice while sitting face to face.
Lucas picked up a piece of rib for Charlotte and said, "I didn't hurt them."
She ate that piece of rib and nodded, "Mm."
"I didn't tell you because I can handle it. I know your car has surveillance, and I also recorded it that day. There's evidence to prove I didn't beat them like that," Lucas explained.
Then he said softly, "If I can't handle such a small matter, I don't deserve to be your man."
"I know you can handle it, but I can't stand people scolding my little one. If you want to show off, I also hope to be present to back you up," she said.
