After Stella Pendleton finished reporting her work, she was supposed to leave Henry Shipton's office.
Before leaving, she didn't forget to greet Charlotte Allison.
"Mr. Allison, I will head out now."
Charlotte Allison looked up at her, "Mm."
With the corner of her eye, Stella noticed that Henry was still looking at the computer, not sparing her a glance.
Her eyes flickered slightly, and she added to Charlotte, "Then, when you have time, may I treat you to a meal?"
Charlotte replied, "Mm."
Stella noticed that it was only when Charlotte nodded in agreement that Henry looked up at her.
Unable to help herself, she glanced back at Henry, with a slight smile, "Mr. Shipton, if there's nothing else, I'll leave now."
Henry said, "Mm."
He got up and walked over to Charlotte Allison's side, "What would you like to drink?"
"Coffee," Charlotte replied.
