Mrs. Daniel couldn't help but recall how many people had recently teased about Harrison Steven being Mr. Daniel's son, but she lightly shook her head, thinking it was too ridiculous.
How could Mr. Daniel possibly do such a thing?
After leaving the store, she held her daughter's hand and, with a smile, said to her daughter, "I never noticed before, but now that I look closely, after spending so much time with Harrison, you two really do look a bit alike. I guess this is what they call a couple's resemblance."
Miss Daniel blushed and said, "Mom, stop saying that. How do Harrison and I look alike at all?"
Although Harrison Steven had a smile on his face, the smile didn't reach his eyes. He discreetly watched Mrs. Daniel's expression and, confirming that she was merely teasing, he felt relieved.
