Ten Minutes Ago;
Luffy had started eating food once again. His body was recovering and even improving beyond his original strength.
Except that he couldn't use Gear Fifth in this war, Luffy had no problem dealing with almost anyone in this war.
At least, that's what he felt right now.
"Luffy-kun, you are plenty strong. Why are you squeezing every second to train yourself right now?"
Jinbe curiously asked.
He had seen Luffy's strength. It was equal if not stronger than, an Admiral. With this strength, he shouldn't have a problem saving Ace.
So, he didn't understand why Luffy was trying to push himself beyond.
Even by eating, he was growing stronger, but he didn't need to eat anymore. He was no longer exhausted after using his Haki like before.
Luffy stared at the blue ocean and spoke.
"Because I've realized something, Jinbe. I want to save Ace. Even if I weren't as powerful as I am, I would do anything to save Ace."
"But if I had no power, then there were things that I couldn't save. There were things that I couldn't prevent from happening."
"Before coming here, Liam told me that if I wanted to save Ace, I must sacrifice Whitebeard. Because only his death could give Ace the greatest motivation to improve."
He turned toward Jinbe and looked straight into his eyes.
"But those are Liam's intentions. I followed them because he was never wrong. He is not wrong this time."
"But, that's not what I want. Ace and I made a promise to live a life with the most freedom.Ace needs to get stronger, but it is his freedom to choose his life."
"He wanted a family. He wanted a father who would give up everything for him. For him, Whitebeard Pirates is his freedom, his goal."
"So, as his brother, shouldn't I help him keep it that way?"
Hearing his words, Jinbe took a deep breath and asked. His eyes, dead serious, stared at Luffy. He slowly got to his knees and said
This action stunned every single person on the ship, including Bullet and Crocodile.
"Brother Luffy, I am in your debt forever. Dad has protected us, but we could never help him. I could never help him."
"I know this will be a tragic battle, and I have no reason to convince you to help Whitebeard with the sins that I am carrying because of my compatriot."
"But, today, I, First Knight of Sea, the former Shichibukai, would request to share my Sake with Captain Straw Hat Luffy."
Hearing his words, Luffy's eyes widened, slowly turned into a crescent shape, and a large smile appeared on his face.
"Welcome to my Crew, Jinbe!"
He grabbed Jinbe by his neck and hugged him.
"Thank you, Captain!"
Jinbe thanked him.
Luffy had already invited him before, so this wasn't shocking, but it was shocking to see the former Shichibukai joining the newcomer of the Sea, the Straw Hat Pirates.
Luffy hurriedly let go of him and said.
"By the way, I would like to warn you. I am usually dumb, reckless, and adventurous. Once we save Ace, our crew will train for two years, and then we will reappear on the sea."
"But even so, if your fishman island encounters the problem, you mustn't forget me."
Hearing his words, Jinbe was a bit weirded out, but he remembered that this Luffy was from the future and nodded his head.
"I understand, Captain Luffy."
Luffy waved his hand and said.
"Just call me Luffy! That's what my nakama call me."
Luffy was no longer worried about his future strength once he left this body.
Because he had been improving his physical strength, which would stick with him, and his body would also remember the usage of Haki.
Even if he didn't know what Haki was, he could still use it during combat. With a year of regular training, it shouldn't be impossible to reach Emperor Level.
But he had already planned to leave Liam's training notes for him. This way this Luffy could learn things faster.
And, he knew whom he should leave these notes with.
One option was Jinbe, and the other option was Hancock.
Thinking about it, he went to Bon Clay and asked.
"Bon Chan, give me a pen and paper that won't get damaged easily!"
Bon Clay blinked his eyes and immediately went around to find a pen and paper.
Soon, he returned with those.
Luffy went to the deck and started writing.
He wasn't good with writing, but under Robin's supervision, he had learned to write more efficiently.
After filing several papers for five minutes, he folded them and went to Jinbe. There were two papers for Jinbe and two for Hancock.
While both papers had similar things, he had written them in different ways to understand them. This way this Luffy would be able to understand them more creatively.
"Keep this one for me! Once the war ends and we separate, give it to him and help me understand it."
Hearing that, Jinbe kept it in a secret pocket where even water wouldn't reach and nodded.
........
"Monkey, you say?"
Whitebeard muttered and burst into laughter.
"Gurararara! Then, let's see who can rescue Ace first."
Luffy felt something different in that laughter.
Relief!
Whitebeard was indeed relieved by Luffy's presence. His Observation Haki wasn't his strongest point, but it wasn't that weak either.
He could see the Haki within Luffy. It was overwhelming for someone of his age.
Despite that, his body didn't seem to be declining as if his body were strong enough to withstand his Haki.
Of course, those with weak minds and bodies couldn't stand in front of Conqueror Haki.
And those without a strong body couldn't use Haki.
Otherwise, Luffy wouldn't have so much trouble fighting Magellan.
Luffy turned away and looked at Ace.
He smiled.
Ace was alive, and that's all that mattered.
Now, it was his job to save him.
But he still didn't forget to use the advantage he had. He waved both of his hands towards the execution platform and shouted.
"Sengoku-san! Grandpa! Why don't you return Ace so that there will be no casualties?"
"Who is that?"
"I know that man. He is Straw Hat Luffy."
"Is he seriously standing next to Whitebeard?"
"Isn't it just a newcomer?"
The marines and pirates started whispering, especially the marines who saw Luffy.
Unlike Whitebeard, most people were either far away from sensing his presence or couldn't sense it at all.
So, in their eyes, he was just an arrogant newcomer.
Sengoku's eyes twitched. He glared at Garp and picked up the microphone of the transponder snail, shouting.
"Monkey D Luffy! You will not save Ace. He is destined to die here, and he will die here no matter what."
Although he didn't reveal anything about the future, just the word was enough to anger Luffy.
Nothing made him angrier than destiny.
It was this shitty thing that caused him so much trouble with Liam.
If he saved his brother, he would lose Liam. If he didn't save his brother, he would keep Liam.
Why?
Because Ace was destined to die.
That's the fate of the world, and he hated that more than anything else.
"Gurararara! Give up, boy! They won't let Ace go so easily. Otherwise, I wouldn't have to walk in here."
Whitebeard burst into laughter.
"Dad is right, yoi. Marines have so many forces just for us. How could they stop this war for a single man?"
Marco landed on the ship. Half of his body was covered in blue flames, and it began to change into human form.
"By the way, Ace told me a lot about his brother. But, shouldn't you be like a weak newcomer?"
Marco couldn't believe he was having the same feeling that his dad used to give in his prime.
Especially when Ace used to spoon-feed them his information.
"Ahh! Something happened that made me strong. Don't worry about that now, Pineapple guy."
Luffy answered him with a nod and turned toward the Marines.
Whitebeard instantly sensed his intention and asked.
"Are you seriously going to use it here? Garp and Sengoku won't let you do it."
"Is that so? Then, let's see if they can block it."
The corner of his lips rose as Luffy placed his hand on his Straw Hat and glared toward the Marines.
At this moment, Sengoku instantly flared up his Conqueror Haki and shouted.
"Garp, together!"
Garp was stunned by his request and came out of his stupor. He realized what Luffy was going to do and prepared himself.
Boom!
An overwhelming red and black lightning burst out of Luffy. It was like a series of lightning bolts horizontally moving through every marine in front of him.
In an instant, Luffy covered the entire Marineford with his Conqueror Haki.
The red domain had no killing intent or murderous aura, but it was overwhelming with Luffy's Willpower.
Bang! Bang!
Garp and Sengoku released their Haki simultaneously. A golden Haki burst out like a tsunami, followed by dark red Haki that rushed towards Luffy's Haki.
Boom!
