Tang Ye did not venture further down the corridor but stood in place calling Lu Xiaojie's name. Despite calling out for a long time, he received no response. At this point, he revisited the content of the letter and realized after some thought that Lu Xiaojie also was not sure whether she could be found or not. It seemed as though they were not in the same space, and she had no clear idea how he could find her; it was all left to chance.
The question arose, if she herself was uncertain of being found, why would she have him come to this recycling depot?
Of course, it might be that she had been here for a long time and by chance encountered something at the depot, just as he had experienced something similar last night. However, such instances were few and she didn't know exactly how to handle them.
Yet, this half chance she spoke of always gave Tang Ye a feeling that there was a deeper meaning to it.
