Henry Ronan looked deeply at Lucy Ansley, raised the corner of his lips, and led her downstairs.
He didn't ask who she was calling, and Lucy didn't mention it.
Downstairs in the living room, the servants had already moved the mahjong table over, and Elaine Ruane invited them to play mahjong together.
Lucy said she didn't know how to play, so Eva Ronan reluctantly sat down, "Dad isn't joining us?"
Elaine pursed her lips and gestured upstairs with her head held high, "He's in the study. He was busy all night; even during the New Year, the company won't give him a break from those bothersome matters."
Not long after, they used playing cards as chips for counting money, and Elaine rolled up her sleeves, ready to show her skills.
"Anna, if you find it boring to sit around, you can lie down for a bit. If you're really interested in playing, you can watch Thomas play and let him teach you."
Lucy nodded and said, okay.
