Doctor Wong Chomin was stunned for the first time in 30 years. He could not understand where the woman went.
Doctor Wong was so confused. Suddenly Baby Ava started to cry, which snapped Doctor Wong back into reality.
He hurried to sooth the baby. However when Doctor Wong picked her up, the Ava began to calm down.
While Doctor Wong was soothing the baby, he thought what should I do with this child, Should I take her to the imperail orphanage?
Doctor Wong looked down at baby Ava. When he looked into the baby's eyes awave of calm washed over him. He felt that this unusual child might have a tough life if he sent her to the orphanage. Just due to her appearance she would be a subject of ridicule and jealousy. He didn't this child to be ruined by a unfair system.
So Doctor Wong looked at Ava once again, but this time he was more calm. He said " from now on I will call you Little White." Ava looked back at the doctor and nodded. The Doctor was shocked again. Few minutes later the doctor was sure he was just make a fuss of nothing. She is a newborn baby there is no way she can understand me all ready. He laughed at his own stupidity. Little did he know that the adorable child before him would one day bring the world to it's knees before her.
Doctor Wong had already finished packing the up his medical supplies. He looked outside and saw that dusk was quickly approaching. Doctor Wong new his mother would start to worry if he was not home before nightfall. He began to hurriedly walk through the village which drew more attention.
The villagers gave Wong Chomin strange looks.
Doctor Wong had no time to explain. He knew if someone else got to his mother first with this news, she might miss interpret it. Then he really would never hear the end of this.
Doctor Wong was so stressed about his mother that he almost ran the whole way. When they arrived at the Wong residence's. Ava eyes widened again, this house was so elegant for a village home. Ava looked up at Doctor Wong suspiciously after seeing the residence. However when she look at Doctor Wong she felt his anxiety. Then Ava set her hand on his chest. Suddenly Doctor Wong felt a wave of calm come over him, and a strong desire to protect this baby.
Suddenly an older clean woman ran out scolding " Wong Chomin unfilial son of mine, You must not care for your mother anymore. I might as well leave this world right now after having such a unfilial child. Why are you home so late and covered in dirt and blood. Originally Mama Wong was going to lecture her son more for being so inconsiderate of her. However, when she say the state he was in her heart began to soften.
Doctor Wong felt like after today he had aged 10 years. After a few minutes of being scolded by his mother, he had notice she had began to softened. She demanded "what happened to you?" Doctor Wong didn't know how to explain this strange encounter to his mother. He said quitly can I please explain inside.
Due to his mother's scolding the other villagers started to gather for a show.
When mother Wong realized what she had done she felt embarrassed. Doctor Wong hurriedly turned to his mother.
He lowered his voice and said "take her inside, I will handle the villagers". Mother Wong looked confused and said "Who?"
Wong Chomin walked her to the gate then pulled out his hand that was covered by the coat and said Mother meet Little White.
Mother Wong was speechless to see a small child in her youngest sons arms.
Mother Wong snapped back to her senses and said "you have got some explaining to do!"
Then she hurried inside the house…
