After Doctor Chomin saw his mother make it in the house safely with the child a small weight had lifted. Then he straighten his clothes up and turned around slowly to wave the flies away.
He said " My dear villagers What has come to trouble you so to gather infront of My Chomin family home?"
A old village drunk yelled "you almost knocked me down on your way into town."
Other villagers started to murmur Amongst themselves. They said " Doctor Chomin was acting so strange" however some where concerned, was Doctor Chomin was the only village doctor. What would they do if something happened to him. The crowd began to stir, Doctor Chomin knew he needed to take control of the situation before it got out of hand. He had to think quick.
He said" My dear village folk there is nothing to be concerned about I was merely in a rush to be home before dark. There is nothing else to say, have a good even everyone.
Most of the villagers were happy with Doctor Chomin reason all except a few trouble makers. The village drunk Kye Key yelled " Doctor Chomin are you really going to lie to us. Do you think us village folk are so stupid to not notice all the blood on your sleeves."
The other villagers had almost forgotten about Chomin Wongs appearance. The villagers began to whisper amonst themselves again.
One person said " Why are his clothes so bloody?"
Another said " Something horrible must of happened."
A concerned villager yelled out " Doctor Wong are you okay?"
Doctor Chomin had to take control soon before peoples imaginations start to run wild. He said" Listen here everyone I ran into a situation on my way returning to the village. I tried to assist the person, however the person succumbed to their injury. The reason I am covered in dirt and blood is because I laid the woman to rest. That is why I arrived so much later then usual. So rest your hearts and minds, there is nothing to fear."
After this statement many of the villagers hearts were at peace. After all what would they do if something happened to Doctor Chomin? There was nothing to fear. The villagers began to separate, wishing Doctor Chomin good fortune after his rough day.
Doctor Chomin released a sigh of relief. Then he remembered his mother, and hurriedly entered the house. Chomin Wong rushed through the courtyard. He reached the living room pulled the sliding door. When he entered the room he saw his father sitting in the head seat of family. He had his hands on his head gently rubbing his head. When father Wong noticed his son, a deep frown appeared on his face.
Father Chomin said " Wong tell me, have I raised a wild man?"
Chomin Wong was stunned, He said "Father let me explain".
Father Chomin would not have it. He said" Where in the gods name did you find baby? You better not be out fooling around, when your mothers been trying so hard to get you married for all these years.
Wong was stunned, he said" Father please give me the chance to explain…
