As expected by those who understood how these ancient spaces worked, they were all separated by the realm's transportation mechanism.

The spatial formation didn't discriminate between continents or power levels. Everyone was scattered randomly across the vast territory.

Arthur found himself standing alone on a vast mountain range with no end in sight. Jagged peaks stretched in every direction, disappearing into clouds and mist.

The mountains were massive, each one easily thousands of feet tall. The air here was thin and cold, carrying the bite of high altitude.

He stood on a rocky outcropping and surveyed his surroundings calmly. The wind whipped at his robes but he didn't move, his stance steady and unmoved.

Although he could have used one of his trump cards to prevent this separation, he hadn't bothered.
