Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: A Lesson Learned

Today is the first swimming elective class, starting with the breaststroke.

As the oldest competitive swimming stroke, the biggest advantage of the breaststroke is its simplicity in learning. Even so, in this class of thirty-one girls, more than half of them can't swim at all.

So, the first class began with learning the basic leg movements.

Coach Ray shuffled around in his slippers, explaining the technique verbally, while Oliver Bloom was responsible for demonstrating. As a swimmer, Oliver Bloom was actually dressed quite conservatively today.

Long black swim trunks extended to above his knees, the same outfit he wore since leaving the locker room. It wasn't that astounding until, upon the coach's whistle, he took off his oversized white T-shirt, and the situation changed entirely.

The previously chattering swimming hall suddenly felt like it was in a vacuum, with voices not carrying through, and everyone could only see mouths moving without any sound.
