Elise Don looked surprisingly into Oliver Bloom's eyes.
He pulled back with force, the inertia was quite significant, causing Elise Don to take a big step forward, just to keep her balance, and was pulled into Oliver Bloom's embrace.
Through the sheer silk morning robe, Elise Don suddenly felt the warmth of this embrace.
He whispered near Elise Don's ear, deeply asking, "Do you really not want to have my child?"
Oliver Bloom's question directly stunned Elise Don for two seconds; she internally questioned whether she had shown any resistance.
But, this was the biggest taboo between them, and they had argued over it at the hospital last time. Elise Don was tired from a long day and didn't want to quarrel tonight.
She twisted her body, adjusted her posture, and said, "I just think Dad is a bit nagging; it has nothing to do with kids."
"Is that so?"
"Of course."
Oliver Bloom's expression carried a scrutinizing look.
