With a ding, the elevator doors opened slowly. Ava Kent looked at the door opposite, took a deep breath, and then stepped out.
"You really dared to come."
Just a minute after pressing the doorbell, the door was pulled open. Ian Roan, wearing a black silk robe, looked at her with an indifferent expression.
"Why wouldn't I dare?"
Ava smiled confidently, "Is Chairman Rowe going to ambush a weak woman like me in his own home?"
"A person who frequents martial arts clubs and kickboxing gyms, weak?"
Ian's voice was flat and unruffled as he turned and stepped aside.
