Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: He Was a Meteor in the Pendantcraft Guild

"What do you think about it?"

Julius Goodman held back his laughter, placing a hand on her shoulder. Ava Kent carefully helped him to the table, but Julius said, "I want to go back to my room to change pants."

"Oh, okay then."

Ava didn't notice the small expression on his face at all, her attention entirely on his leg, quickly supporting him as they headed towards the room.

Mrs. Goodman took a moment to glance at the two in the courtyard, the smile on her face growing. Although her son was a bit slow, a little pushing seemed to do him good.

"You go change, I'll wait outside."

After she took him back to his room, Ava was ready to leave, but Julius took the opportunity to embrace her, pulling her directly into his arms.

"What are you doing?"

Ava looked up at him, "Weren't you going to change your pants?"

"You claim to be as shrewd as a beehive, yet you believe everything I say?"

Julius pinched her nose and led her to the desk, "Sit here."
