Chapter 3 - The Hyuuga Incident

Now that I was here, there would be no one who will be able to save his sorry ass from me, no one.

---------------------------------

Two years passed in the blink of an eye. My chakra was growing day by day, and all the growth accumulation from the past years had made it much more noticeable and potent. I had been studying this diverse topic called chakra for these two years, and I had actually learned a lot by reading books related to chakra, practising the techniques in said books, and experimenting with said techniques. I was really grateful that the Uchiha library was accessible to me 24/7, and me being the clan heir, no one dared to question my antics. I read tonnes of books inside it, mostly the ones that were based on chakra. I knew how to better my control of chakra from the anime, the leaf-sticking technique and the tree-walking technique were pretty popular for the genins. I was now able to stick nine leaves at any given time to my body.

I was able to stick one leaf to my skin on my first try, it was actually very simple, just focus your chakra on that part of the body where the leaf is. The chakra will then stick itself to the leaf forming a connection, as long as this connection is not broken the leaf will remain stuck.

The second leaf comparatively was much more challenging, it took me one whole day to figure out what to do. To connect to the second leaf, one would have to focus on two different parts of your body, you will have to split your chakra and distribute it to both leaves, this was very difficult for me because of my chakra reserves being minimal in size. The main problem was that, though I could sense my chakra, not easily mind it, I couldn't divide it freely because focusing on two different streams of chakra when even one proved a challenge for me was impossible. But after a whole day of trial and error, I was able to stick the two leaves to my skin.

Next came, three leaves which at my level was impossible and it took me a whole week to make it possible. This week did not increase the amount of chakra in my body, but I managed to find a way to minimise the amount of chakra consumed to stick the leaves. How? Simple, let's consider that chakra equals a glue stick. My body is the surface at which the object i.e the leaf is to be stuck. In the beginning, I applied glue to the whole surface of the leaf to make it stick. But now to lessen the amount I started applying chakra at only a single point on the leaf, making it stick to my body and also decreasing the amount of chakra consumed by a huge proportion.

With this new idea in my mind and having completed the task of sticking three leaves to my skin, I tried attaching four leaves this time, but the technique didn't work, why? Again, simple. My chakra was not able to hold four leaves at a time, not because of its size being very small, no. It was because its density was not that high. My chakra wasn't strong enough to hold four leaves stably at once. If I used the chakra using the previous full-leaf method, I would be able to hold the leaves. But my chakra core wasn't that large, and if I used the single-point technique, my chakra's strength would be an obstacle.

"Fuck." I yelled as the leaf fell yet again, this was already my 73rd time trying to stick all four leaves to my skin but even after two weeks had passed, I was yet to complete this task. "I guess three leaves is my limit right now," I mumbled, as I started looking around trying to find my caretaker. I was both happy and sad, happy because I was able to stick three leaves to my body at the mere age of one. Sad because I could only stick three leaves.

"Sasuke-sama, Mikoto-sama has prepared your favourite dish, please let's head back," said Niwa, my personal handmaiden, she was only 14 this year but she was my servant, perks of being the heir of the Uchiha clan. Actually, the relationship was mutual, she was also a part of the clan and my mother had taken a liking to her, so my mom decided to teach her Genjutsu and in return, she became my handmaiden. Pretty convenient for me, I must say.

"Sure Niwa, just a minute." I said as I got up, packed everything up and left the library. I didn't want to leave any traces of me using chakra behind.

----------------------------------

"So what did my cute boy read in the library?" Mikoto asked me while pinching my cheeks, when I came back from the library.

"Oh, I read about Hashirama sama, he is so cool. Did you know that he overpowered all the villages and all the tailed animals too?" I exclaimed.

"Oh, was he? Now why don't you eat your food before it gets cold, and your mom gets angry?"

"Hai."

Life lesson No.1: 'Never anger the one in control of your food'.

----------------------------------------

"Mom, do I need to wear so many clothes, it gets really uncomfortable." I started complaining for the umpteenth time.

"Yes, it is a must. My Sasuke must look the most handsome of all the children that come to the Hyuuga princess's birthday."

The whole Fugaku family had been invited to attend Hinata's birthday, though Fugaku and Itachi were not going to attend, of course.

Fugaku was busy with the clan meetings and a certain ambassador had decided to visit Konoha to make peace with our village, and Itachi had just lost his genin teammates so he was pretty sad, and he had also started training in most of his free time.

"Ugh."

"You got any complaints?"

"No..." I replied meekly.

-------------------------------------

Raikage's mansion, Kumogakure

"Byakugan...."

-------------------------------------

Guest house, Konoha

"We must kidnap the Hyuuga princess, for Kumo."

"For Kumo."

-------------------------------------

Hiashi Hyuuga's mansion

We reached the Hyuuga patriarch's mansion, which was also the place where the event was going to take place.

"Welcome, Mikoto Uchiha, the matriarch of the Uchiha clan and Sasuke Uchiha, the heir of the Uchiha clan." the woman at the gate spoke as soon as we entered.

"Welcome Mikoto san, and this must be your youngest son, Sasuke. I hope he and Hinata become good friends."

"I hope so too, Hiashi san."

"Now please enjoy the festivities."

After that greeting, we left to meet my mom's friend Himawari Hyuuga, Hinata's mother.

"Sasuke you go and play with your friends, I am going to meet Himawari (Hinata's mom, she might not have the same name, let's just say that Hinata named her daughter after her dead mother), ok."

"Sure."

With that, I went to meet 'my friends', though I didn't really want to, why? They were kids.

------------------------------

"Hey Shikamaru, wassup." I smirked when I saw the guy sleeping at the table while Choji was stuffing himself with all the food that was provided at the party. Shino was trying to swat a fly that kept bothering him, the irony.....

Ino was telling everyone that the flowers present at the party were all provided by her family, and Kiba was sitting with Kuromaru, Tsume Inuzuku's dog and damn, was that dog scary.

"Ugh, let me sleep, I don't know why my mom woke me up and brought me here, at least you shouldn't intervene with my sleep." He complained.

I talked to that guy because he was someone who matched my vibes the most out of all the kids there.

"Hey Sasuke, you should try this Yakiniku(grilled meat), it is amazing," commented Choji as he took another bite of the meat.

"I would love to if only you would leave some for me, dumbass."

"Sasuke, do you like this rose?" Ino questioned me.

"It smells good."

"Doesn't it? It was provided by the Yamanaka flower shop. You must come there if you want good flowers, ok."

"Sure, I would love to. But that comes later, right now we should wish the birthday girl, Hinata." I chuckled as I saw Hinata coming down the stairs in a dress bigger than herself.

"Happ birthday, Hinata sama, the Hyuuga princess." I greeted her while I and everyone else started smirking at the last line.

"Do... Don't say that, it... it is embarrassing." Hinata said, blushing.

'Damn, she is too similar to the anime, makes me ashamed of even thinking about adding her to my harem.'

------------------------------------

The festivities continued till late at night, and many people greeted Hinata and gave her gifts.

After the party was over and we were about to leave, I saw Hinata going towards the Hyuuga garden and knowing the plot of the story, I followed her. I didn't have a concrete plan to stop the Kumo guy from kidnapping Hinata. I knew that whatever I did, in the end, that guy won't be able to kidnap her, I mean only imagining something like this happening was unbelievable. Like, come on, if an unknown cannon fodder can abduct "The Hyuuga princess" from the middle of the Hyuuga mansion then I can at the age of 3 kill Danzo.

The Byakugan can see through any wall, so if the Raikage really thought that one of his henchmen would be able to kidnap Hinata with Hiashi present around her, I would really like to commend his intelligence.

Hinata sat on a swing and started swinging while the moonlight shone on her face.

'So cute.' I thought when I looked at the little girl swinging around without a care in the world not knowing the future that she was destined to live. I pitied a lot of characters in Naruto, namely Tsunade, Sasuke, Itachi, Hinata, Naruto, etc. Everyone had lost a lot of things in their lives, and if I could help in any way possible, I will not let them experience these situations.

-------------------------------

I looked at the sky, mesmerised by the stars that were twinkling in the night sky.

'I wish Sasuke would stop teasing me, and today he even applied cake on my face, I don't know why he did that, but I really disliked it.' I sighed. I was really tired after greeting so many people and receiving so many gifts at once.

"Aahhh," I shouted. My thoughts were suddenly interrupted as someone pushed me from the swing, and I fell down. I looked up to see who pushed me and was shocked to find Sasuke standing in front of me.

"Why... why did you p... push me?" I complained.

"Hinata, I am sorry that I pushed but now is not the time to discuss that, call your dad fast. This man is very dangerous."

I turned around and saw a man with half of his face covered by a veil walking towards Sasuke with a kunai in his hand. Scared out of my wits, I was not able to even let out a whimper let alone call for my father. I looked at Sasuke again, 'He saved me, but I can't even call for my father, how pathetic I am?' was the last thought in my head before I fell to the ground, unconscious.

------------------------------

"Who the fuck are you boy, and how dare you intercept my path?"

"Well, I am sorry to say this but you weren't really invited to this birthday party, and going to a birthday uninvited is very shameful, didn't you know?"

"What did you say, do you really wish to die, boy?"

"Well, not really. But I promise you, kidnapping the Hyuuga princess and killing the Uchiha heir will leave a very bad impression on your resume."

"I see, even a child of three is filled with the Uchiha ego. And you are right, killing you can cause a lot of problems....."

'Ha, LOL asshole.'

"But what if no one gets to know of your death, what then?"

'Fuck.'

"Hinata..." a voice came from the entrance to the garden.

"Shit." the man shouted before he started running in Hinata's direction eager to finish the job.

"Hinata is in danger," I shouted as loud as I could before the man was able to reach her.

As soon as I spoke those words, there was a flash and Hiashi appeared right in front of the guy from Kumo. Hiashi picked the guy up, using only one hand that was placed on the man's neck.

"How dare you try to hurt my daughter, that too on her birthday? Do you wanna die?"

"Stop, Hiashi san. Don't kill him, he is the ambassador from Kumo." I shouted before Hiashi could choke him and end that guy's existence right in front of me.

Hiashi looked at me, nodded and pressed an acupuncture point on the man's neck, knocking him out.

I looked at the knocked-out guy laying on the ground, 'Ha, one person saved....' was the last thought in my head as I too blacked out when the reality of what had just happened reached my brain, after my adrenaline rush had ended.
