Chapter 20 - Chapter 20-Two headed Mutant Bear Round 2 ?

Zyle walked into a slightly more open area, the bear's loud roar alerted Zyle from a distance. The two-headed bear darted toward Zyle's direction relentlessly, knocking down even more trees. Zyle closed his eyes and mumbled to himself. " Okay, just like you practiced, you got this- just put it all together." He at this point -was referring to the moves he thought about and somewhat practiced while he was walking eastward earlier. Slowing his breath and keeping his concentration on the heat within his body. Meanwhile 5 miles away, knocking down any remaining tree along its path.

Zyle took a stance that resembled the stance of an all-star baseball pitcher. Forming in his cover hand was a fireball steadily increasing as the Two-headed forest bear got closer and closer. Activating his buff skill, he slowed Counted to 10 as the fireball increased to the size of an actual baseball. He opens his eyes only to find out that the bear is now only 30 feet away and moving closer. Like a pitcher, he releases the baseball-sized fireball toward one of the bear's heads with the same velocity as a real baseball. However, unlike a real baseball, it exploded upon impact. The blast zone was wide enough to damage and burn some trees on fire. Additionally, it created a wide smoke screen that left the damaged two-head bear confused and lacking most of its senses temporarily.

Unable to see through the thick smoke, the two-head bear swings its claws frantically. It then attempted to smell its surroundings but all it could smell was smoke. As it continued to sniff, a flaming sword cut through the smoke slashing right across one of its noses and causing it to gush out blood. A few seconds before, Zyle grabbed his sword and applied flame to the blade as he rushed into smoke with an upward diagonal slash. Although he could see much through the smoke the bear's movement made its position obvious to Zyle. Well- that and the fact that that bear barely moved from the spot he last saw it before the area got covered with black smoke from the initial fire.

Holding the slashed nose the bear retreated out of the smoke as it slowly dissipated. As the smoke cleared Zyle could see the bear holding one of its noses and shaking its head as if writhing in pain.

"Ah okay, so your nose is a weak spot huh? good to know," said Zyle as he witnessed the spectacle.

The Two-head mutant bear regains its composure only to be met by the flaming sword towards the other head. However, this particular head wasn't its original head therefore it did not react the same way. Although the second nose was cut with the flame blade, it swung its claw in retaliation. Zyle quickly dodges as well as parries a continuous onslaught of blows from the mutant two-headed bear. Although Zyle's speed hadn't increased, his newfound strength had allowed him enough power to parry the attacks, he could not dodge. The fight was fierce and lengthy, both appeared to be at a stalemate.

The battle was so lengthy that Zyle began to take risks. At this point, the sun begins to set, and the brightly lit moons shine on the night shortly after. While parrying incoming attacks, Zyle started utilizing his fire ability in as many different best he could. he would pick up sticks and turn them into flame torches as he thrust them toward the creature's faces. when he gets distant he would use the flame pitch he came up with. On the cover of the night, he would still utilize smoke screens as he attacked at every angle. The smoke screen was another skill he taught himself during this fight. Earlier in the fight, he realized when he rapidly extinguished the fire in his palm to parry an attack, it left behind a thick layer of smoke. So Constantly and rapidly lifting and extinguishing the flame on his palm generated smoke at an incredible rate.

Covering the entire area with smoke within seconds, Zyle swings his sword for the creature's head-on predictions and attentively listens to the creature's movement. Occasionally the creature's attacks would partially land, barely grazing him or causing a few deep cuts. In one instance, he charges his sword using his buff skill "charge up" and waits for the perfect moment. A certain fluctuation of wind was created by the two-headed mutant bear's swing headed towards Zyle. With perfect timing, he jumped up and climbed up the mutant bear's arm then leaped again avoiding the creature's powerful jaw that attempted to bite him. while brandishing the charged flamed sword over his head, he activated his second buff skill { rage on) in mid-air. He swings his sword downward like an axe and splits through one of the mutant bear's heads. Shortly after a powerful claw was slammed against Zyle's right side sending flying with great speed.

His body slammed against a distant tree causing it to fall upon impact. At this point, the smoke was completely cleared, and the creature could be seen wailing and wobbling back and forth. However, Zyle himself was unable to move a muscle which prompted him to check his status.

During the intense fight, he hadn't paid any attention to how quickly his health and MP&S were dwindling. Looking over at the creature from the distance, what he witnessed was something out of a Syfy movie. Unknowingly and luckily for Zyle, he had struck and split through the bear's original head causing it intense pain from a fatal blow. However, the creature had not fallen but instead, one of its head was grossly trying to detach itself from the rest of its body. Catching feeling in his right arm again, Zyle quickly grabbed the sword that lay beside him and chucked it towards the head with all his might. Zyle's current strength was enough to propel the sword at great enough speed to pierce through the creature's left eye. Instantly detachment process ceased and the creature and its entirety flopped on the ground like a heavy bag.

The battle was over...
