The water poured down from the faucet as Jane washed her hand turning back to Raye who was putting a small lip balm on her lip .
" It's a lip balm not lip stick why do you need to stare at the mirror to do it " Jane asked rolling her eyes while Raye shot her a quiet glare .
"I need to make sure It doesn't hit the wrong corner , beside I got bored waiting for you so I decided to do this ..let's go see that girl ".
"Yeah ivy right , the beads are with you ?? ".
"Sure , thanks Jane , I didn't know she would order ten of them and still recommend a friend , I thought I would be broke till the end of the semester but this is great "..
"Mhm let go _ "Jane words were cut short when two girls barged into the restroom .
One of them was Layla followed by her close bestie , and as usual the girl was ready .
Her blonde hair was combed so neatly you would think she spent hours while doing it and gosh it was also shinny .
She wore a big light green cardigan and a short flare skirt revealing her long legs .
Raye and Jane shared a look ,they took a step ready to leave the rest room when Layla blocked them .
Jane raised a brow tipping her head to the door .
"Please step aside princess ". She said sarcastically while Raye smiled softly .
Layla glanced at Jane with a nonchalant expression before turning to look at Raye .
She wasn't here for her so there was no need arguing .
"I heard you went out with my boyfriend ".
"Mhm " Raye hummed smiling softly ," yes i did go out with Joshua ".
Layla tried to form a sentence but couldn't .
The audacity !!!
"Pff ," Layla scoffed clearly displeased .
She couldn't believe the girl was among those who fell for Joshua again .
This was so stupid , she thought she was a little - brighter than this .
"So you admit it girl , you went out with my boy friend...M. I. N. E " Layla stressed glaring at Raye who finally chuckled .
"Girl stop acting like Joshua is your boyfriend , we all know his for the community ".
Jane commented crossing her on hand on her chest with a smile while Raye burst out laughing .
She was so straight to the point she thought and she wasn't wrong either ,Joshua was so for the community to use and then ...dump .
Layla face flushed pink in embarrassment as she turned to the girl beside her who pretended like she wasn't listening .
Not wanting to give up , she resorted .
"Yeah and you still went out with him '.
Raye stared at Layla silly face , the girl looked like she was still young and didn't know about anything .
Maybe to childish the way she talked too .
"I could throw the same question to you _ but hold on " Raye stopped Layla calmly seeing she was about to talk again .
"Instead I would say this ....what me and Joshua did , wasn't called a date or anything , it is just more like a ..." Raye trailed off trying to find a suitable words but Jane bit her to it .
"Revenge ".
"Yes that's it more like revenge " Raye said giving jane a high five before she turned to Layla " look I won't deny it I had a crush on Joshua before you guys started dating ...or maybe before I at least knew you were dating ...I am not the type of girl that jumps on a boy who have a girl friend...girl I don't share ".
"We don't share " Jane said pointing dramatically to her and Raye who nodded slowly .
"Yes Jane , we don't , I only went to that so called date thing for revenge " Raye said using air quote on the date .
It wasn't real though .
" That's a lie Joshua told me you forced him to go on a date with you ," Layla defended .
Raye didn't mean to laugh but she did , it came out loud after which Jane joined her .
She really haven't seen anybody this dumb or maybe pretending to be dumb like this .
"Honey ,I don't know if you are playing dumb for fun or something but ,we have proof and also look at her...how could she possibly force a big boy like Joshua on a date "Jane said turning to look at Raye who stared at her for a minute before shrugging .
This wasn't their initial plan , but she also want to help this girl named Layla , who was living in a lie .
She brought out her phone tapping on the video before showing Layla who stared at her with supiscion as she reluctantly took the phone .
Layla gasped watching the whole scene she stared at Raye and then Jane before dropping her eyes back to the screen .
So he went out on the date .
Even when he told her he wouldn't .
She had made up her mind to break up with him , but he begged like always and told her he would quit .
But he didn't anyways , he ended everything with the other two but went at her back to create a new one .
"Wow , Joshua did this " Layla asked handing Raye her phone who nodded .
"You know the disturbing part of all this ....mess.... is why do you still follow him ?" Raye asked with a confused face .
To what she knew about the girl , she wasn't a bad person rather too naive .
They weren't friends but anytime they came across each other she greeted her sweetly and she was also nice too .
And that is a suprise , because most rich kids tend to be proud ...but Layla wasn't .
Why him ...ok she get he seem nice , good-looking and all .
But it was very obvious he cheated .
She decided to let go of her feelings for him when she saw them together ....she would have broken up with him if she knew he ha many ...if she was in her shoes .
"I know that ,but me and Joshua had been dating since like for ever , at first I didn't like him ....more of our parent arrangement but then I started too and before I knew it I fell in love with him ....he did try for some month, he stopped .....we were already dating when he got admission into this school ...he just.....continued " Layla sniffled though she didn't still cry .
"Any ways , I am glad that I was able to leave him and stop all this whole crush thing , I won't advice you to leave him to , anything you want to do I literally don't care ..just figure it out but I hope you would make a good choice ".
Raye ended staring at Layla who had a thoughtful sad look on her face she turned to Jane as they both walked out of the restroom .
She hoped the girl wouldn't continue to be foolish .
And like that they both walked away to their class.
