Chapter 59 - please don't go

••••Back in the dining room.

"Marie what was that all about? That's not how we treat guests",Tyson said, looking at her upset.

"What did I say wrong? What type of parent would let her daughter paint her hair and Pierce her ears?",She asked as if she didn't say anything wrong.

Tyson didn't say anything because he knew this was how she behaved, she had the heart of condescending others' children and lifting her children highly. She does whatever she felt was right, even if it was totally wrong and unreasonable.

"Reign go and check up on Damaris, she rushed after Audrey and she doesn't know how to use clutches", Tyson turned to look at Reign. Reign neither argued nor protested, He dropped the fork he held down gently on the plate then stood up from the chair and left the dining room.

" Why do you treat Reign like he's some servant? Isn't He even older than you?", Mathilda asked, putting a piece of bacon in her mouth. "Besides I don't see anything wrong in what mother said".

Of course you wouldn't, spoilt like your mother,he thought.

"Hasn't Marie here taught you not to speak when your elders are speaking. Mind your business?", Tyson asked calmly but you could hear the intended rudeness. "Last I checked, he has a mouth and the will to protest if he wants to. He didn't complain when I asked him, so why are you the one complaining?".

Her face changed, "i was just concerned about how you treated him", she played the victim.

"And that is none of your concern, stick to your business, I'll stick to mine", he said looking straight into her eyes.

She got up from the table, then stormed out of the room. Marie looked at Tyson with a cold glare, without saying a word she moved her chair backwards. She went after her.

"Let's go",Vanessa turned to claude.

"But I'm not done eating",.

"You've eaten enough. Let's go, now!", she said not giving him a chance, she took his hand then pulled him out with her.

No sense of conscience or right and wrong, Marie had spoiled her children. Only Claude was the sane one, maybe because he was still young.

Immediately Tyson stood up then went to check up on Damaris and Audrey.

....

Reign stood at the far end, watching Damaris. He wanted to help but didn't want to interrupt her getting Audrey's attention.

"Audrey please don't go!", Damaris tried rushing over to Audrey, but her clutches were hard to weild.

Audrey pretended as though no one spoke, then turned the knob.

"Audre- ahh!!", one of her clutches slid off the floor, causing her to fall.

Audrey immediately turned to see Damaris on the floor, the bandage on her elbow was dripping blood. This girl is so reckless!, Audrey yelled her mind.

"What is wrong with you?!", Audrey asked, rushing to her. "Look now you're bleeding. Lord".

"Don't mess up my floor", Marie said heading up the stairs showing no bit of concern. Right behind her were the girls, Vanessa held Claude's hand dragging him along with them.

"You have such a disgusting family", Audrey said, picking Damaris up from the ground.

Tyson stood beside Reign watching Audrey care for Damaris like a big sister would. Audrey picked her off the ground.

Tyson had to step in cause this was the stress, the doctor warned about. It was only yesterday the incident happened, and here she was caring for others but herself.

"You're so careless", Tyson said looking at Damaris, Reign stood behind him.

"Let me help you", Tyson offered, but Audrey refused, taking a step back.

"where were you when she stormed out of the dining with her clutches?", Audrey asked,

"So don't bother".

If only you knew what went on in the dining, Tyson thought, but he didn't say anything, neither did Reign.

"Least you can do is carry her clutches", she said to Tyson in a calm manner, but he could tell she was angry.

"Lead the way", she said to Damaris.

As she climbed the stairs, Tyson could tell something was off with her. But knowing how stubborn she was, he knew she wouldn't let him carry Damaris.

He stood a bit close, ready in case anything happened and in a few minutes something did.

Tyson was talking to Reign about how they need to put an eye on both of them, especially in school, since this fight wasn't a normal one. If Audrey wasn't strong enough to protect her and Damaris, things would have gone worse.

Audrey paused, gently kneeling down on the floor, Damaris still in her hands. Immediately he rushed to them.

"Are you alright?"he asked, trying hard to hide his worried tone.

"I am fine", Audrey replied, but he knew she was lying.

"Audrey! Your nose", Damaris pointed towards her face. "it's bleeding".

Audrey raised her hand to her hand to touch her nose, she brought it back to look at her hand, her nose was bleeding.

"It's just a nose bleed, I'm fi-", Audrey fell to the side, Tyson turned her over to see she was unconscious.

This girl is so reckless, he thought.

Tyson looked at Reign and immediately he went over to pick Damaris up, while he picked Audrey.

"What's wrong with her?", Damaris asked, tears rushing down her eyes. Tyson could tell she was scared, but he didn't have an answer to give to her question.

"I don't know", Tyson replied.
