Logan: Why the hell didn't you answer my calls?
Eugene: Stop whining and keep your eyes on the road.

Rose wondered who their current savior was and weirdly pulled on Eugene's sleeves.
Eugene looked at her hand, tugging at him, and back at her face, and clearly understood her expression. With a smile and a smirk on his face, he spoke in a soft tone, which shocked Logan.
Eugene: Rose, this is Logan, and Logan, this is Rose.
Logan: Why are you suddenly speaking like that?
Nice to meet you, Rose?
I'm guessing you are the cause of that squeak in his voice.
Logan said with a grin, clearly taunting Eugene.
Rose: I...
Eugene: And what if she is? Got a problem with that?
Logan: And why would I have a problem with that when I've been waiting for that for years? Huh, little bro.
Rose: Little bro?
Wait, you two are brothers?
Rose looked at Eugene, then Logan, and then back at Eugene. They looked nothing alike.
Eugene: 'Sigh.' Yes, we are.
Logan opened his eyes wide in shock at what he had just heard. For so long, he has waited for his little brother to acknowledge him, and who would have thought he was going to do that under these circumstances, and all because she asked?
Just then, Rose noticed a black van behind them.
Rose: Eugene? I think we are being followed.
Logan checked his rearview mirror and saw them too
Logan: Those bastards.
He made a sharp turn on the road, almost knocking down an ice cream guy.
Logan: Damn, that was close.
Eugene: Give me your phone.
Logan: What do you need my phone for?
Rose: ....
Eugene: Just give me the damn phone!
Logan: Fine, take it. Geez.
Rose, now do you see how he speaks to me? I am nothing more than a servant to him, this guy.
Rose could do nothing but giggle. These two really are something else.
Eugene dialed a number on the phone.
Logan: Who are you calling, anyway?
Eugene: Tracy.
Logan/Rose: Tracy?
Eugene just stared at both of them, confused at their reaction.
Logan: Who is Tracy?
Rose: She is my friend.
Eugene: Why are you calling Tracy?
I'm thinking she might be worried about you.
That was a half-truth, though. Eugene had another reason for calling Tracy, but it was just hard to explain things at the moment since they were still being chased. They had to get to safety first, and now he needed Tracy. He knew she'd come in handy in the long run.
Rose: Oh shoot, that's right, we left her at the party.

Tracy: It's about time. Where the hell are you guys and why the hell did you run off like that?
Eugene: ....
Rose: Can I speak with her?
Tracy: Would you speak already? Where is Rose?
Rose placed the phone on loudspeaker.
Rose: Tracy!
Tracy: Rose! Are you ok? Is everything alright?
Rose: Yes, yes, I'm sorry we left you.
Tracy: You better be. How could you run off like that without a word?
Rose: I'm sorry.
Eugene: Enough of the interrogation.
Eugene was slightly annoyed with how Tracy spoke to Rose. He'd give her his mind if he was close to her, but now he had to keep his cool because of Rose.
Eugene: Listen to me. I'm sure you already got the word that we are being followed.
And I believe you already know why I called?
Back then, when Eugene had Tracy out on the campus grounds to speak to her, he made it known to her that there might come a time when she'd have to reveal her true identity because of either him or Rose. And now it was happening.
Eugene seemed to have foreseen something like this happening.

Tracy stated with a teasing tone.
Rose: ...
Logan: Woahhh! I like her already.
Rose wondered how Tracy had the boldness to speak with Eugene like that. He said he was her boss, right?

Tracy: I have already made arrangements.
Logan: Shit!
These guys won't give up, will they?
Eugene turned back and realized there were now two, no, three vans behind them.
Eugene: We'll meet up at the church.
He then hung up the phone abruptly and moved to the front.
Rose could only watch and stay put.
Logan: We are going to the church?
Eugene: Mhhmhm
Logan: Wait, you mean THE CHURCH?
Logan's eyes opened wide to the realization.
