Leo opened the letter, his eyes scanning the familiar handwriting. The more he read, the more excited and confused he became.
..................
Dear Son,
If you are reading this, it means your mother and I are either dead or have disappeared on you before you awakened your heritage. We assure you, it was not our intent to leave you.
We ran into some serious trouble and had to leave or risk being caught, but that is something you don't have to bother with right now.
To the important part: You've likely already awakened your abilities and have been inside the Beast Forest. While you are currently only forced to enter it at night, if you focus, you can enter physically at any time. Be careful, though; if you are killed while physically inside, there is no coming back.
I write this to tell you that you must head to the center of the forest. I know it will be hard—I was there, so I know what the journey entails. But to truly understand the meaning of that place and learn about yourself, you have to reach the mountain in the center. It is something every member of our family must pass through alone.
Lastly, behind this letter is a map of a safe house your mother and I used in our days as Hunters. There, you will find all the information and books you will need about the supernatural world; your mother was a knowledge maniac, after all.
Your mother and I love you and hope you live a happy life.
P.S.: If you ever truly want to know what happened to us, don't bother looking until you have at least reached our level of strength. When you reach it, and still want to look, head to Japan. You will know what to do.

Reading the letter a couple of times, Leo sighed and leaned back, 'So, as I thought, this world is not just Twilight.' He flipped the letter over and studied the map, noting that the hidden house was marked on the sea, a couple of kilometers off the coast of La Push, near Forks.
Sighing to himself, he started the car and headed towards the coast. On the road, his thoughts wandered around everything he had learned today; the entire ordeal of his parents' "accident" still troubled him.
He arrived at the sea cliff overlooking the shore. After looking out at the water for a moment, he spoke to the car console. "Alfred, take the car home. I may be busy until tomorrow morning."
[At your service, Sir. What about the guests in the garage?] alfred asked.
Leo looked confused before remembering. "Ah, right, Rosalie and the others. Well, just let them be. If they ask, just tell them I have to take care of some business. Also, did you activate the permission levels I gave them?"
[Yes, sir. Rosalieis P6, Alice and Jasperare P4, and the rest of the family is P3,]
Alfred confirmed.
Leo nodded, satisfied, and exited the car. He watched his automated vehicle hit the road, then looked back at the ocean. "Let's see what my family was up to in the past."
With a surge of power, he transformed into a magnificent silver eagle , leaping off the cliff and soaring toward the horizon, unaware of a pair of intense eyes observing his transformation from the cover of the forest.
