Archer kept telling everyone what he knew, and could see Journee clenching and unclenching her fists as if ready to fight some unknown enemy. Was she angry at him? But he helped her, why was she angry? Was anger the only feeling she felt for him? Did she feel nothing for him? She was making him angry now.
He squinted his eyes at her and continued, "I had seen her running towards that assistant director of the FBI, and I thought she was coming to hit me. Why? I had no idea. Well… you guys know she doesn't need a reason to act crazy. She can create scenarios and make people behave as she wants. She is highly manipulative."
"Keep your commentary to yourself. Just tell him what I did and what you did. Nothing else!" snapped Journee.
Archer pursed his lips to avoid laughing. Even Kay coughed to stifle his laughter. "Really, Kay? Really?" She again rolled her eyes.
