"Looks like I have gain quite a number of things." She slipped her tea. It was raining and she had been indoor throughout the day.

She poured some more tea on her cup and drank in. Placing the cup back on the saucer, she curled into her bed. She hadn't braided her hair in the longest of times and just kept it neatly pinned.

Her parents hadn't come to see her and she couldn't leave the room. She didn't know why but she enjoyed the silence. Before she woke up that rainy day, they brought a long wooden instrument and left it in her room.

She asked her system what is was and it gladly replied.

"Analysing." Her system said then, paused. "Analysis complete."

"The Chinese zither, called guqin, has existed for over 3,000 years and represents China's foremost solo musical instrument tradition. This ancient instrument is inseparable from Chinese intellectual history. The instrument's name is often translated as "Chinese lute" or "ancient lute"."

"So, am I supposed to learn how to play that thing?" She asked."

"The Guqin is associated with the elite class of scholar-officials of imperial China, and it boasts a history of thousands of years. Men of rank and privilege learned to play the qin primarily as a means of self-cultivation. In other words, I think that you have learn how to use it if you want to be accepted in the house of the higher ups." It continued describing the lute.

"Its lowest pitch is about two octaves below middle C, or the lowest note on the cello. Sounds are produced by plucking open strings, stopped strings, and harmonics. The use of glissando, sliding tones, gives it a sound reminiscent of a pizzicato cello, fretless double bass or a slide guitar."
