Mitsuki(Selene), Arlene(Undine) and Helios stood within the Halls Of Scorpio And Sagittarius within Tempus Roma with Tempus Roma.
"Today, we will be studying the Exodus Of The Soul towards the Revelation Of God through the parallelisms of the Biblical Books Of Exodus and the Acts Of The Apostles after the Matyrdom and Resurrection Of The Christ. For now we will focus on the Exodus. To do this, you will need to be a little more open minded than usual Mitsuki" Tempus Roma said.
Mitsuki nodded as Arlene readied Christopher to record all that was about to be said.
"The Biblical narrative of Exodus does not simply record a Physical Exodus but also imply a Spiritual Exodus Of The Soul towards its True Eternal Homeland 'Heaven'. The narrative of Exodus in fact begins with a 'Death'. The Death of one of the Patriarchs Of The Twelve Tribes Of Israel, Joseph who had become the Governor Of Egypt after a period of slavery and after accurately predicting a famine that was to befall the World via the accurate interpretation of the Dream Of The Pharaoh Of Egypt. This Revelation was given to Joseph by God. After the Death Of Joseph, it is said that there arose another Pharaoh who knew nothing of Joseph. It could be said that the deeds of Joseph through the intervention of God were 'veiled' from this Pharaoh. This 'veiling' led to the 'Bondage Of The Israelites'. This 'Bondage' was both 'Material and Spiritual' in essence. The Israelites found themselves in a state of 'Spiritual Death' or 'Spiritual Peril' noted by the 'drowning of the Male Israelite Newborns' by the order of Pharaoh. 'Sheol', the 'Realm Of The Dead' in Ancient Traditions was believed to be a 'World beneath the Waves' or 'Beneath The Sea' thus by casting the Male Israelite Newborns into the River Nile, Pharaoh was proverbially 'casting Israel into the Depths Of Sheol'. This is signified by the intent behind Pharaoh's actions who out of fear of the growing population of Israel and their potential rebellion against the Egyptian Order once they had acquired enough numerical might decided to burden them with cruel labour in order to 'break their Spirit'.
Israel's deliverance ironically followed the proverb 'the cure to venom is often in the nature of the venom itself'. This proverb came to life when one Israelite Mother bravely chose to defy Pharaoh's order and conceal her Newborn Son for 'Three Months'. Three Months, the meaning of your name Mitsuki signifies 'Three Lunar Cycles'. After the Third Month, the Child could no longer be hidden thus his mother placed him in a Basket Of Reeds daubed with Tar or Bitumen in order to render the Basket Waterproof and placed him in a River. These Reeds the Basket was made of ironically prefigured Israel's eventual deliverance from Egypt at the 'Sea Of Reeds' or 'Red Sea'. Moses was ironically rescued by Pharaoh's daughter who named him 'Moses' meaning 'Drawn out of Water'. Pharaoh's daughter had ironically given him a name that proverbially meant 'Delivered from Sheol'. As Moses grew up, he began to notice the cruel persecution of the Israelites at the hand of the Egyptians. He had to flee into exile after impulsively murdering an Egyptian to rescue an Israelite who was being oppressed. Moses' call ironically came to him in the 'Desert', a place 'devoid of Water' which ironically ran in 'contrast to his Egyptian Identity'. God instructed him to confront Pharaoh and liberate Israel. It is said however that God simultaneously hardened Pharaoh's heart in order to demonstrate his power not only to Pharaoh and the Egyptians but to the Israelites as well. God had given Moses and his brother Aaron some signs to perform before Pharaoh including the Transformation Of Aaron's Staff into a Serpent. This Sign was however replicated by the Egyptian Sorcerers but Aaron's Staff devoured their Staffs demonstrating God's Sovereign Power over the gods of Egypt. This was a direct challenge to Egypt's gods. From then on God began to smite the land of Egypt with 'The Ten Plagues' mirroring the 'Ten Commandments' which would later be delivered to Israel through Moses. Pharaoh's Sorcerers were 'able to replicate the first two Plagues' but were 'unable to replicate the last Eight', Plagues Three to Ten bringing them to the realization that a Supernatural hand was at work that exceeded the capabilities of Egypt's gods. This was clearly visible in the 'contrast between the occurrences in the habitations of the Israelites and Egyptians'. While the Israelites dwelt in safety, exempt from the Plagues, the Egyptians had to face the full terror of the Plagues. This contrast in the occurrences that befell the oppressor and oppressed was a direct challenge to Egypt'sgods for the Soul Of The Nation Of Israel. God was nullifying the hold Egypt's gods had over Israel hence delivering them from the 'Proverbial Sheol' they had been cast into. The final plague demonstrated it clearly as the Egyptian firstborn were slaughtered by the Angel Of Death while the Israelites who had been warned beforehand had followed the instruction of God to mark the doorposts of their houses with the Blood Of Lambs. This mark was a signal to the Angel Of Death that Israel was the property of the One True God foreshadowing Christ's Sacrifice at Golgotha/Calvary on the Cross. This last plague forced the hand of the Egyptians who finally chose to let Israel go but only temporarily. God had already foreseen that Pharaoh would change his mind and pursue Israel. The Book Of The Wisdom Of Solomon puts it this way,
'But the Ungodly were assailed to the end by pitiless anger, for God knew in advance even their future actions that, although they themselves had permitted thy people to depart and hastily sent them forth, would change their minds and pursue them. For while they were still busy mourning, and were lamenting at the graves of their dead, they reached another foolish decision, and pursued as fugitives those whom they had begged and compelled to depart. For the fate they deserved drew them on to this end, and made them forget what had happened, in order that they might fill up the punishment which their torments still lacked, and that thy people might experience an incredible journey, but they themselves might meet a strange death'.
God guided Israel in the form of a Pillar Of Cloud by Day and a Pillar of Fire by Night. When the Egyptians made the Decision to pursue Israel, this Pillar moved to separate the lines of Israel and Egypt also acting to impede the Chariots Of The Egyptian Army. Then came the final confrontation where God would deliver Israel through a Sign that pointed to Moses' own Identity, the confrontation at the Sea Of Reeds or Red Sea where God parted the Waters Of The Sea allowing Israel to pass through on dry ground between the Massive Columns Of Water on both sides. The Egyptians stubbornly pursued the Israelites and God claimed his final victory over the Egyptian Army when the Waters Of The Sea came back together and fell upon the Egyptian Army. God had delivered Israel through the very same method Egypt had attempted to use to break Israel's Spirit, by drowning the Egyptian Army just as they had once drowned the Male Israelite Newborns thus proving God's Justice. They had also been delivered in like manner as Moses' mother had taken actions to preserve his life thus Moses' name became a Symbol Of Deliverance not just for himself but for the Israelites and the very Identity the Egyptians had given him had spelled their Doom from the moment they had begun to oppress Israel; 'Drawn out of Water' proverbially meaning 'Delivered From Sheol'. Moses' name also prefigures the First Sacrament Of The Universal Church, 'Baptism' as I explained earlier, the Remedy for Original Sin and the initial infusion of Grace into a Person. The Israelites were collectively baptized in the Red Sea via their deliverance. The rest of their journey was meant to rid them of their conditioning as Slaves in order to prepare them to inherit the Promised Land. The Instructions God gave to Moses for the Construction Of The Ark Of The Covenant, the Tabernacle and the Holy Articles was in essence 'God reconstructing the Broken Body Of The Nation in preparation for its Resurrection'. The Exodus was thus not merely a Physical journey but also a 'Purgatorial Journeyfrom Death to Life' meant to rid the Israelites Of Their Conditioning as 'Slaves', in Spiritual Terms, 'Deliverance From Slavery To Sin' and thus prepare them to inherit 'Heaven', the 'True Promised Land' in fulfilment of the oath God had made to Abraham, the Patriarch Of Israel" Tempus Roma explained.
