That encounter didn't let me sleep in peace. Because the image of William is keep playing in my mind on repeat, and it makes me awake all night.
At the moment that I went back to my room, I sleep and wake up, William occupied my whole night, aside from him, kissing me that hard.
I don't want to think more or to overthink the situation, but why on the earth he will kiss me that hard, the way he look at me. It seems like he want more, he likes me?
But that is impossible, I am engaged with the Duke. But I can feel sometimes that he is very protective to me, and he always insisted that he want to guard me all the time. He even neglect his works as a heron since the day that I came here at the empire.
He just said that he's stoping himself since the day that I set my foot at the empire.
He's weird.
And now, I am tired and looking at the ceiling of my room, I have meeting later with the marquess and that is a important meeting. That's why I need to recover and and to rest well.
"Your highness, are you awake?" I look at my door, and lady Critesa is holding a tray, and the Duke is behind her.
They are walking until they reached my bed and my lady in waiting put down the food tray at my bed side and left the Duke with me.
I didn't talk, I just look at the food tray until Duke Theron talked with me.
"I heard that you keep working, even you're recovering from your eye color transition." I look at him and get the coffee at the tray, sip on it and show my smile.
"Yeah, I can't sleep or relax in a bit, specially that my family didn't stop at all." I put down the mug and look at the Duke.
He looked dead serious now.
"Be careful with the marquess, I have a bad feeling to his kindness, that's not him." He said and sit down beside me.
"That is not his characteristic, that's why I am telling you. Be careful and mindful at all situation. Your father want to put you down that bad." I nod and play with the spoon and fork at my hand.
I am hungry, I want to eat.
"I will keep that in my mind, your words and all." I said before I start to eat the food that they prepared for me.
"Do you still check the progress of our wedding preparation?" I almost choked and look at him, show my guilty smile and he just take a deep breath.
"I did check the progress and it's all great." I said and he look satisfied with my answer and stand up, kissed my forehead before walking to the door of my room.
"Let's have a dinner together, I want to spend more time with you, but we are both busy now. Be careful, my queen." The Duke Theron said and close the door.
I need to finish all of my works and the errands for my wedding preparation.

The Marquess Francisco want to have a meeting with me at his mansion. The purpose of the meeting is unknown, but I will come since he helped me last time that my sister is having an mental disability attack.
But those words that the Duke said lately, I tried to set aside those words. I don't want to become negative to people who is showing kindness to me.
What if he's really nice and I am just overthinking the situation.
And now, I am at the gate of his mansion, the guards is looking at me. They look afraid of me and aloof. I am still wearing my eye silk, and still hiding the fact that my eye color changed already.
As always, Sir William is with me now, again. Even all that happens at the library, he is still here with me. And acting like nothing happened between us lately.
I'm trying my best to hide my embarrassment, because I can still feel his soft lips on mine. Want to touch it that bad.
I need to set aside my unholy thoughts, I will be married soon, and I need to stop this kind of set up.
After the day that I almost got stabbed, he never failed to helped me, and guard me. As if I will die anytime, and now. Sir William is at the other carriage, with my Lady in waiting.
Sir William open the door of carriage for me, and hold my hand while I am going out of the carriage.
I am a little bit nervous, but I hope that this business will work, and slowly gain the trust of nobility.

"Good morning, princess Delaney." The son of marquess Francisco was at the door, greeting me and bowed his head. I can sense that Sir William is looking at the son of marquess.
"You may rise your heads." I raised my hands after saying that, and the son of marquess smile, kneel in front of me and asked for my hand.
"I'm Klein Francois Quison, your highness." He said before kissing my hand. I just smile at him and not paying too much attention to him.
"Nice to meet you, Sir Klein." I withdraw my hand, and I heard a soft chuckle behind me. It's William, stoping himself to burst out his laugh.
He find it funny, when someone is attracted to me. Isn't that bad when someone likes me? Sir William didn't discuss if he likes me or not. He just kissed me and we make out for an straight hour. I can feel that he tried to dry hump me at the library, and that is the reason why I feel that my cheeks is burning now.
This evil person. And when I look at Sir Klein, he is hiding his face, because it's red. Trying to calm himself, because he looked tensed now.
Why? I am just being me. It's not my fault anymore if he think that I am that pretty, but I feel kind of off feelings regarding to this scenario.
"He find you beautiful, even you're wearing an eye silk, maybe he has a little crush on you." I feel disgusted when I heard that. Sir Klein's face become redder and trying to walk away now.
I don't know but I am not comfortable when other people find me beautiful, I have a bad feeling when people find me beautiful.
Maybe it's because I don't trust people around me on this past few days.
But this is different scenario now. I need to trust them, in order to work with them, because marquess might become useful to me. Once that I finally do what I am planning since the day of my hard work.
"Let's start our meeting, and we have a lot of discussion here, and some offers that I know you will like." Sir William was behind me. But a few inches away from me.
He still guarding me at the Marquess house.
But at the same time, I feel safe that Sir William is with me, and I can work in peace now.
"Let's start here, at the river between Gribe and Drivike. This river is the boundary of two empire, now. This is the reason why your father agreed to have a political marriage because he want the resources from that river." He's really greedy, my father is like the same of the nobility.
But business is business. But I hope that someday, I won't do what he is doing.
"But now, what are his plans, after the day that the emeperor Blake died, and emperor Kier is the one who is taking care of the kingdom now." I asked because I am curious on the possibility that my father is thinking.
"Your father want you to marry the new emeperor, the same plan but a different emeperor. Because emeperor Kier already agreed if ever you came back to the Gribe. That is the reason why your father want to stop the engagement that you have with the duke." I bit my lips and trying my best to calm down.

"But rest assured that he can't di anything about it since you are already with the Duke, and you just need to keep up the good reputation to the capital, so the other people will notice that you're great and doing your best." I nod and feel that I need some fresh air.
"I want some fresh air for a while." I stand up, and didn't wait for the answer of marquess.
I walk out of the tea room and have some stroll at the mansion of marquess.
His mansion is neat and spacious. The ambiance is kind of dark when I stopped at the room.
I am curious but I started to walk again, but it caugt me off guard, when someone grabbed my hand, and pull me inside the room.
The whole room is dark, and I shout when I was thrown at the bed.
I can't see who is it, but too late. His hand was at my waist, squeezing it and a lip from my neck was making me feel uncomfortable right now.
All I want is to stop this, because I don't want any of it. "S-stop!" I hissed and trying to push this person. I don't know who is it. Because this isn't my house.
What if the marquess is keeping an insane people at his house, and this guy is one of those.
"I said, stop!" I scream and pushed him hard. I managed to pushed him away from me, and when he was about to attack me again. I removed my eye silk, and he lost his control to himself.
"Open the fucking lights!" I said while catching my breath, trying to compose myself and not to cry.
The door opened by force, and it's Sir William. He saw me at the bed, and at the moment the lights is opened, my tears fall and sir William saw that I am crying at the bed.
He look mad now, and to my surprise, it's Klein. The son of Marquess who looks normal lately, but now. He is like a beast, and he's the one who harassed me.
The marquess was at the door too, looking at his son and when he saw the state of his son, he didn't managed to look at me.
"Your highness, what did you do to my son." He asked and Sir William helped me to stant up, and wear the eye silk.
"He almost raped me!" I hissed and he didn't respond. Yet he look at his son and shook his head.
Like he didn't believe that his son will do that.
"My son is not capable to do something like that, Klein is a nice guy, that's why I can't believe you. Your highness. I thought you're different from your family, I guess all of you are the same." I throw the eye silk and commanded Klein to kneel, and bowed his head.
"Klein, confess your sins from me." I said and the marquess looked worried, because because I am the one who is controlling his son, or Klein might spill something that he wasn't supposed to be told.
"I didn't do anything wrong to the princess, even she didn't asked to do that, because I know she will like it, she smiled at me lately." I almost lost my jaw and Sir William also looked at me.
This family is a fucking insane, just like my family.
