A talisman came in on a bird. Malam Bei took the recording of the talisman on it.
"The Sect in which Malam Bei had been building is now nothing but ash. It appears to have been burned with dragon fire and Fire Qi. Although, this is just theorizing at this point. I believe due to the close proximity to the Bad Sect it was them who burned down the Sect for dual cultivating." The talisman recording ended.
'It appears that either dragons came in afterwards or he is holding back information. At least this confirms that the possibility of Liz burning down the Sect is at least truthful.' Malam Bei concluded in thought.
She whispered something to the guard outside. She watched as the guard went inside the room and whispered into the assassin's ear.
"Very well." He replied.
The guard went back to his post.
"It seems like dragons also went in after the Sect. Do you know if any were around when it started?" The assassin asked.
"There was a roar that made it seem like one was close by. I never saw the shadow of it if it did land close by the Sect." The man replied.
This was disturbing to say the least. If dragons were close by, yet he never once saw their shadow. This means that either they were already planning its destruction or on the other side and decided to join in on fun.
"Consider me impressed with this development." Malam Bei spoke within the room.
Never did she once think that the dragons would help and burn her Sect down. Now, she has to make a final decision on what to do.
"Send him back to the inn and have six assassins sent to that Sect and kill Demon's daughter Liz." Malam Bei gave her command to the guard.
The guard came into the room.
"Under orders, you are to return to your inn immediately. As for you two, wait until he has left the Sect." The guard spoke.
The man entered the inn. He took a quiet bite of a meal and retired for the day. He also sent another message without the assassins finding out.
Meanwhile
"Which six assassins are we sending out?" The assassin asked.
"Whichever you believe will be able to kill that wretched bitch and bring me her head." She replied.
The assassin gulped at the fury in her eyes. He quickly took note of it and sent out the best assassins. He knew it would take at least three weeks before they arrived close by the Sect. That did not mean that it could not be quickened.
Taking the short route by flying could be down within a week but each night the assassins would have to find shelter. This was more problematic.
Taking a mix of flying and walking would take anywhere from a week and four days to two weeks and three days. It honestly depended where they flew and walked.
By simply just walking and riding carriage it would take three weeks. This was the best choice as to not fend against dragons that flew in the air.
A mysterious box landed on the doorstep of the Assassin Sect that night. No one knowing who it belonged to or anything.
Malam Bei got it inspected for any formation or Qi explosives and none were found. This at least helped her.
By the time she opened the box. She felt her heart sink into the ground.
"My babies and darling." She cried.
All her children expect for Malam Yui had their heads cut off and her husband did as well too.
"I swear to your Graves that I will kill whoever and whatever did this to you. Even your sister now will join you all. That will be done personally." She cried.
She told the assassin to send word to capture her daughter and play with her along the trip. She was not going to have her family destroyed and yet a bitch dared to live through it all.
No. That was the last thing she absolutely wanted for herself. She felt that any person helping her daughter out would also get in her way. Thus she decided to ensure that whoever follows, death does too.
