In the midst of having a dinner, a message was delivered to the group.
"Malam Bei had her daughter Malam Yui over a dual cultivating Sect. However she was displeased with being placed there and constantly complained about living there. Even I was beaten for just asking how she was doing several dreadful days.
Just recently, it has come to light that Malam Bei wanted to poison the two big Sects. However, the daughter to Demon became furious that she could not enjoy a hot bath.
She burned down the fence built by Malam Bei. She turned her attention to the Sect. When she confronted Malam Yui about her mother. She was pleased to know that someone other than her wanted her to die miserably.
The duo burned down the Sect and forced me to become one of the two sole survivors of that Sect while hearing the screaming of the people from within.
Then I was demantled and made fun of while being dressed in such ugly clothes. Even nobles laugh at the sight of me. I do not like being laughed at.
Although, I am supposed to be helping them find her mother. I want her dead instead and any shape or form. Heck, torture or play with her for all I care. I just want her head presented to me." The message ended.
The group was silent for a moment.
"Did that bastard actually have to say that?" Malam Yui was furious.
The other women were upset that Liz had her name spilled out as well. Rex was actually curious as to how this would play out. He could already see two endings.
The first with Malam Bei actually making her return after he had already sent the heads of her children and husband to the Assassin Sect. The second was the utter destruction of the Sect because she was there.
"Honestly, that is probably the best way to get Malam Bei out. The other two plans failed and this is our best chance." Rex told them.
The next message wrote that Malam Bei actually appeared in the Sect but he had not seen her. This caused a major eruption of anger from Malam Yui. Why would her mother appear there even after she had been cursed by the man?
"This is simple. She needed to know who would do it. Who would be stupid enough to go to her Sect and tell her people that her family betrayed her?" Rex told her.
This caused the group to understand the underlying message that the man did. "I know you either screwed your daughter up during the younger years or you mistreated her and now she has been dying to destroy you." Rex told them the message from the man without them knowing.
"Will he?" Malam Yui asked.
"No. Either way this goes he will be dead. He either dies because this mission failed or he dies because now that the truth is revealed. I cannot have any lose ends." Rex told them.
He left intending to meet up with the assassins. His plan was simple kill, meet up, and kill. He had nothing to gain by prolonging this game.
He got on his dragon and with a mighty beat of its wings. The duo took off.
Near the middle, the assassins heard the roar of the dragon. When they noticed the Fire Qi in its mouth, it was similar to the dragon who burned down Malam Bei's Sect. This had to be killed.
Rex had already hidden himself. He needed to see what plans the group had in store. They all casually followed along the dragon's path. Ensuring that they stayed far enough back to keep concealment and close enough not to lose it.
Little did they know that their biggest threat was behind them. Literally, all it would take is a reach forward and Rex could grab four of them instantly.
He made sure to keep his concealment to the tightest he possibly could. While the others began to slightly lose theirs, Rex's concealment was stronger and lasted longer.
While the dragon rested not far from them. Rex also rested near his dragon. This way he could recover easier and still be protected while making sure that the assassins do nothing yet.
Once Rex was ready to get close to them, their plans to make the dragon a goner was spoiled in the campfire and Rex was going to use it to their advantage.
