As Rex, Liz, and Iris finally left the Sect. A sense of pride made the two women feel good. They knew that no one would dare make fun of them since Rex was their man.
While they were riding on the tiger, Maximum and Demon both returned the Ninth Realm.
This shocked the daughters they thought it was going to be longer before they returned. Alas, they wanted to be with Rex on his Quests.
"Just hurry now. We can always come back and enjoy them." Iris spoke.
The ride was swift and fun. The first Quest took them near the Mountainous Sea. It was easier to head there and get that Quest done before heading to the other.
Four days passed by quickly. The group managing to enjoy the ride while making sure that they too ate and slept well during the night.
When they reached the village for the Quest. It looked more like a ruined village from beasts rampaging across the buildings.
Rex and the women landed quickly and went into the town. As they walked in, people shut their doors and windows in fear of whatever was close by listening.
"My friends from the Sects. Please allow me to make your stay as enjoyable as possible." A man walked out seemingly better than the rest.
Rex could feel the Demonic Qi deep within the person. He knew that this person was a complete demon and needed to know who they were.
"Sure. Please escort us to the finest building. Also, a message from behind came along." Rex spoke.
The person knew all too well what this meant. He quickly led the way to an empty house.
"Reveal as to why you know the Demon Code from Lady Lilith or face my wrath!" The demon spoke.
"Demon King of Annihilation" Rex spoke.
The demon immediately bowed. No one dared to use this name in public besides Rex.
"My King, what do you need?" The demon asked.
"What happened here?" Rex asked.
"Terrible beasts keep attacking the poor village. I at least keep some of the weaker minded creatures at bay. The stronger ones always visit in an hour." He spoke.
"Good. I can take care of this Quest and be leaving within a day. I do not think any beasts are coming today." Rex spoke.
"My King, if it happens it will be wonderful news for the village." The demon was happy.
"Do not take it so seriously. We just killed four beasts that wanted to chat our heads off for breakfast." Rex replied.
"Hopefully, they were the stronger willed ones." The demon replied.
The man left in better condition than he entered.
An hour passed and less than normal beasts appeared. They seemed angered that some of their friends had been eaten for breakfast.
"The people who dared to kill our kin come out and face us!" The beasts roared angrily.
Rex gently walked out of the house. His fist already clenched ready for the perfect moment to claim victory.
As the beasts seemed hellbent on making Rex suffer. They did not notice his fist. A quick launch of his fist and the beasts died from the shockwave.
"Dead." Rex told the people of the village.
The villagers were proud.
"I hereby announce that he is your protector. Anyone and everyone whom he deems worthy of helping you all, is worthy enough to be granted permission to stay." Rex told them.
The villagers accepted his words. The demon made sure to get some help and made sure that Lady Lilith was the one supplying the help.
"It will hurt her but gain us major footholds within the Ninth Realm when the demons are ready to help." Rex thought.
The next quest took almost six days to get to. This was because it was farther north than this village.
When the group arrived, it was not much left of several villages put together. People hid themselves underground praying for salvation.
Even those who tried to protect their loved ones barely were alive. Even the guards already nearly lost their minds.
As Rex pulled in, their grief turned into fear. As they tried to get the newcomers away.
Rex and his group were not going anywhere.
Roars of beasts trying to scare off Rex came from behind.
A single full power punch destroyed the beasts that were heading towards them. The people were afraid.
"Load your families and belongings. I will lead you all to a somewhat better place." Rex told them.
Rex could tell that there was no demon around and at least in the other town there was one currently.
Rex led the total amount of people equaling almost 150 to a new village. Of course, he sent word to Lilith to ask Diablo to help supply extra men to build the village up in hopes of securing good faith with the humanoids.
Diablo sent almost three hundred demons to help provide better living places for those whom Rex is leading now and those already there.
