Words of a song filled his mind, he could think of tucking any of his women into bed and how they would no matter what follow his lead.
He continued to dance within the fight. His simple dodges looked almost like a dance. The Queen told tell that he was thinking of other things besides the fight. Each time she went to go into melee with him. He would step away and land a few hits here and there.
She decided that it was time to give up. Then like a sudden avalanche. She was once again on her back. To her surprise, Rex was quietly waiting on the floor up from her.
She laughed as he just continued to think of the music in his mind. She laughed harder now. Now he was humming the music.
Now he had changed the music. Rex knew it was still the same author. To the Queen, it seemed something completely different.
Quietly the Queen shifted into the shadows. She wanted to see how he reacted to her attacking like this.
Rex began to smile has he hummed. The Queen launched herself from the shadows. Rex stepped into a rhythm to a new beat. He bumped into her instead of just purely attacking her.
The Queen began to think of how was Rex able to hold the bottle. It should have been impossible. As she the duo sat down again. Rex had been imagining how much he had put smiles on the women. Their casual smiles even when he had to force them to stop.
He finally reached the end of the thoughts with Lilith holding out her hand. When he took it, he felt something change in his body.
It was not his body that had changed. It was that his blood had been fighting against a tiny amount of poison still in his blood.
Holding the perfume, it gave him the mental capacity to only think of women. As he thought of happy moments of his women. His Demonic Qi began to charge throughout his body trying to fight against the poison.
Each step was the Qi in his body shifting to continue to fight against the poison. The Queen began to realize this and wondered how there was still poison in his body.
The click came together as she had always been the one to make the poison. There could traces of it in her cloak. Each time Rex just bumped into her the poison would be just enough to not cause any disruption on the skin.
She laughed again as she had realized how much she had truly caused too much trouble for Rex. Even now, she could not help but admire him for being able to handle the pressure of poison while dancing.
"So tell me, what your secret during this fight was?" She asked.
Rex looked at her and told her, "I just focused completely on my women. Each time their smile was presented to me, each time I was afraid while trying to keep their smiles on, and how the future their smiles will be more joyous than now."
The Queen could feel deep emotions from Rex from his talks. He knew that he had to quickly train his Spear and Sword techniques. He had plenty of Axe techniques, he had not had to hunt many beasts during his journey so far.
The looming of the War was a good reason to increase his training. The Queen got one of the Royal Knights who used the Spear first.
He and Rex began to train with the Spear. The way he handled the Spear was different than he imagine.
Each direction was completely up to chance. That was until Rex noticed his hands were in the opposite direction than the Royal Knight. When he matched the Royal Knight, he found that the random direction was not random at all. The muscles screaming as he tried to make the pattern as the Royal Knight.
When he attempted to make it just flow, his muscles did not scream. Rex wondered what this was.
"This is a technique from a world where the Spear is their main weapon and only those who truly use it like this move up to the upper elites." The Royal Knight explained.
Rex was shocked to hear such with this technique. He was glad to practice it instead of being forced to fight against it.
