Rex stared at the perfume now in the Queen's hand. He could tell that this was truly the perfume just by the enticing smell of Liz coming from it.
That was just the droplets from it being used. The smell was the memory of Rex when he would have to be close to Liz. The Queen explained how it worked to him.
"Damn. That is truly a marvelous perfume. Tell me, how much did it cost to buy the perfume?" Rex had stars in his eyes.
If he could truly become resistant to the poison even just from a droplet left on the bottle. How much more effective would it be if he could buy a bottle?
"So, here is the problem with constantly using the perfume. It will eventually become a toxic liquid that when smelled. It caused your nerves to shut down, it also causes blood to almost stop flowing as if you are asleep instead of awake, your natural ability to fall asleep becomes hard, and I have personally caused a person to lose their sanity by over using the perfume because they could not live without that using it."
Rex was truly stunned. He decided to stand up for himself.
"Alright. From now on, we only use it on the higher end poisons and at the first couple tries. That should allow me to become more resistant that way."
The Queen agreed.
The Royal Knights knocked on the door. They came in happy as they could be. That was until they saw the perfume bottle in the Queen's hand.
"So, how long till we truly become targeted again?" The one standing at the front spoke.
The Queen laughed because she truly thought that they were going to be a burden. Rex could not help but smile. Even though, he knew the reasoning why she was lingering with him. He could not help but be amazed at how well she kept to her man.
"Although it is regrettable that you all believe in a good beat down from Rex. I will have you all know that it will not be acceptable to believe that I will always have him training.
It burdens to explain this but I was showing him how potent the perfume truly is. He could not believe how strong it was either." The Queen finished.
The Royal Knights all felt their loyalty split. They had just assumed the worst instead of relying on the Queen to be teaching.
"We are truly upset with ourselves. Please believe that we had no idea." They all bowed before speaking.
"Thank you all. Now, make sure to get your pregnant because once we leave from here. Those children will be the first free children to roam the Shadows within the Realms." She told them.
Although it was regrettable to have the maids be forced to bear children. Their way of life was soon to be changed. They needed all the help that they currently could.
The Royal Knights left to ensure that their women could be pregnant before the start of the War. Even then, the duo felt as if though it was truly a dire state to be together now.
"What I want from you currently is the fight in hand to hand combat. It will help me gauge how much I truly need to worry." She spoke.
Watching the fight from her husband before the trauma. She gauged Rex to be an extremely tough opponent.
As soon as she declared the match to start, she was already on the ground looking up to Rex. She knew that this was more than enough to know that he was much stronger than anyone else she had ever tried to face alone.
"Twenty out of ten on the power scaling. Wonderful." She ended sarcastically but was actually quite pleased with the fight.
Normally, she would gauge the fight in three steps. First the speed. If someone or something cannot do the fight properly, the speed is usually the problem. The attacker can be dodged or shifted into a bad position.
The speed she gauged Rex was much faster than the few people she considered truly fast. His attack to put her down was also done too fast to see.
Putting someone down for just long enough for the kill is not hard. She gauged him to have already killed her instantly before she could do anything to protect herself. That was the second criteria.
When she got help up, she realized how much she actually got hurt. She could feel the bones actually shifting due to the pressure on them.
"Well, I will be upset. This was truly a hard time to get hurt." She spoke.
Rex smiled. He handed her the Awakener perfume back. She was startled because it is usually poisonous for anyone else to hold unto. Yet Rex handed it back without any problem.
"You truly are a monster." She praised.
Rex did not want to her the praise of the monster. He knew better than most to just accept it now and cry later about it.
Even as the day went on, the duo spared no time in the training room today. Tomorrow Rex would get into too much poison. This would cause him to be more anxious than before.
Even a singer and dancer currently could not move accordingly to the music in Rex's mind.
