Rex still passed out had dreams of every woman who is close to him. He felt as if he truly was beside them due to the smell.
At first Iris, the smell of the ocean on her because of her Water Qi. He could tell that she currently was extremely happy. Then the dream shifted to Liz.
This vision was different. Instead of the smell of actually Liz. He could smell the burning of the hill from far away. There was not even any smoke. Liz was beside him casually talking about the fire as if though the fire was from her. Then the dream shifted to Violet.
Here, the forest remained the king of the jungle. Without it, the creatures living inside would have already perished without thought. So, the singing and dancing of the creatures and people living from afar could be heard as if they were beside Rex. Violet told him that the singing and dancing were a tribute to the forest to continue standing tall. The dream shifted again to Margaret.
Rain in the middle of the night was this dream. Margaret could he heard laughing as she ran through the rain trying her best to outrun Rex. When he finally caught her, the dream shifted to Amber.
A bright sunny day with a huge building in front of the sun. Rex looked around to see what this was supposed to be. It weirded him out because he could not sense any person around. Amber scared Rex by silently poking his sides without question.
He jumped as he turned to see the smiling Amber as she ran away. Rex darted after her keeping the same pace as her. Then the dreams ended and he woke up with a splitting headache.
He looked around to see a new bedroom. It was still rough on the edges. The bed was clean, the structure of the bed was questionable, and the lack of anything else was disturbing.
The Queen entered and was surprised to see Rex awake. She began to slowly feed him some weird colored liquid. To Rex it had a taste of soup but the color started looking black but now brown and that was just bad.
"What is this?" Rex asked.
"Soup of the Maddening Flower." The Queen replied.
Rex felt that the Maddening Flower was a perfect term for this soup because he felt like this was indeed maddening to eat.
By the fourth spoon, the color was now clear. The taste of it much better. This Rex to become wide eyed during the eating of it. There should not have been any reason for it to now be so tasteful.
"The taste starts off absolutely horrid or wonderful and goes in the opposite direction. If it starts horrid, that usually means that you were sick or weak. If it started off wonderful, than you had no business eating it. There are some that claim to eat it everyday and the flowers grow faster outside their house.
To me though, that is just a little freaky and disturbing talking about the Maddening Flower like that. It usually kills everything around it once it begins to grow." The Queen looked serious when talking.
Rex could not help but be extremely happy with the Queen. The thoughts of him being poisoned were quite disturbing and would be for anyone else. He was positive that he would gain the resistance to them but not at the rate he needed to.
He asked, "What can we do to Increase my resistance to the poison without overly killing myself?"
The frown on the Queen's face told Rex everything that he needed to know. Yet, as he felt the decline was immediate. The answer that came from the Queen startled him into asking again what she said.
"We can inject three poisons directly by using two of the maids. Each of them kissing your arm, whilebI continue to kiss your cheek. Of course, only I am able to due to a restriction on the Shadow Queen lineage."
Rex was imaging a curse on the Shadow Queen lineage but it was something far worst.
"It is just an inheritance. The curse part of it is already sealed into existence. Now it is just once a Queen has been named, the said woman can no longer kiss her husband.
Though, most men and women already do not like kissing each other. I have to kiss other men. Otherwise, the curse naws out emotional response from my husband.
It is a dual edge sword that both grants me huge increase in favorability and sucks out most of my true love for my husband. Once a King and his Queen have become engaged. The talks of the happens once they become King and Queen happen. Even is she did not want the curse, she would become a servant to him because of the forbidden knowledge of the inheritance."
Rex was quite surprised at that. Even as he felt that surprise. He also began to smell Iris in the room. He did not know why but something told him to ask for the smell.
"It is a perfume called the awakener. It is supposed to awaken those who are passed out or on the verge of dying.
It is used mainly to calm down truly rowdy prisoners within the prisons of another world."
Rex was glad to have the talk because it could be the key to unlocking a faster trend on becoming poison resistant.
