Chapter 1000 - Chapter 997 Poisoned needs to be a virtue

Rex saw the battlefield once again. His once cold demeanor against the Shadow People now a realization that they are truly powerful race.

Unlike the Sect that uses that for their specific knowledge of assassinations, gathering information, and deadly moonlight changes.

These people use the knowledge they have already gathered to empower themselves and their technology. To even make a world where it seemed almost like an Earth but with complete darkness.

To justify the end of saving millions, one race must die. That race is the evil Shadow People. Of course, evil is just a term that people put on decisions and actions that they either agree with or not.

Unless stated in a LAW, right and wrong are just two coins of the same side. To the unknowing innocent people, Rex would be the evil one. To Rex, they are the evil that needs to be killed.

What is right and wrong can also be determined by the knowledge they hold. The Shadow People using knowledge gained from previous worlds by alliances, conquering, or even stealing.

The knowledge that the Nine Realms hold is different than the knowledge the Shadow People know. Rex decided in this vision to try and use what he knows is poison against the Shadow People here.

What he did not know was that the poison he uses here would be directly linked to his mind and not real life. Where it may or may not poison them, it would indeed cause them trouble for a short while before gathering an antidote or already knowing how to deal with such poison.

As he experimented with the poison. He found that he did not wish to try and use it constantly. His vision slowly was coming to an end.

He had been able to fight off the effects of the poison using his vision to try and now he was noticing how much sweat he had produced. It was too much not to notice one way or another.

"Cleanse yourself. May the mercy of those who will fight against you not know this side." The Royal Knights echoed within the chambers.

It bothered them so much that they needed to personally see if their cloaks had been damaged during any time with Rex by the King.

The Queen could look at the cloaks but since the King was still alive. They had to have him fix them. The Queen walked out to the chamber and smiled.

Even though she could tell that the sweat smell was mostly from the poison. She did not wish to make Rex angrier than what he already was.

"Truly marvelous work." The Queen praised.

Although the poison was one that she had already used. It was still a miracle that he had not gone berserk.

Rex smiled has he truly felt an accomplishment from this poison. She helped him to the entrance and exit of the seal.

He quickly left and returned within an hour. Even using special incense to help him in bathing was not enough to get rid of the poisoned sweat smell.

She had noticed that he had tried. She would not allow him to be discouraged. She just naturally told him that the smell was not as bad as what it was.

Although, it pained him to hear that. The Queen also told him that it would become worst if he was able to fight against the poison on a better concoction.

Rex felt that she truly tried to help him with this. As long as she was willing to help and not really care for the smell. He would do his best no matter how hard it was.

He got a stronger taste of the poison. Immediately, he knew that he would go berserk due to the heart beating too fast. Demonic Qi began to circle around Rex. His eyes turned black with the red irises.

He felt his teeth grinding. He never knew how much pain and suffering he was going to be through and trying to fight against the poison.

The visions just like the original. He had seen his wives fight back. He truly focused on them being able to fight back.

It worked, it truly had worked for almost fifteen seconds which had felt much longer for Rex. Then he had passed out. Unknowingly, he had truly overworked his mind during the two poisoned events. He could not wake up from a berserk moment.

The Queen had already made an antidote. It was a perfume that when inhaled by a berserk people. It turns into a smell that they recognize.

The smell currently turned to Iris. He calmed down and completely shut off his transformation before it could finalize. The Queen looked at him and got the Royal Knights to take him to the new bedroom.
