As the meeting came to a close. Rex walked out with Lilith. She herself was currently in a fancy dress because the meeting was called. She did not want to cause him problems here in the town.
"So what is the Palace truly for?" Lilith asked.
Rex looked towards the sun. He could see the light and warmth it brought up. As he stared, he knew that the Shadow People would have their ways to be protected from it.
"The family wanted a proper place to stay within the Nine Realms. This place brings them the best view of the rising sun and moon." Rex told her and led her to the spot.
Pointing her finger downward in a arc, it honestly led to where the sun would rise. Even Lilith felt that this was just a little too much.
The duo left not wanting to talk about the situation. Rex knew it would take a long time to build. Not only that, he had to design the palace for them.
He walked back to the center most building. The Shadow King jumped out of his Shadow and back to where he belonged. He was grateful for the view of the place they would call home even if it meant being servants in name.
The Shadow King thanked the duo for all of their hard work. Even he told them that the demons would be welcomed into their home in the palace.
Rex nodded and the left. The walk around the town was soothing. Lilith had never felt this kind of pleasure before. To normal cultivators, they cannot return to the Mortal Realm.
Since has the Demon God's blessing to go anywhere in the Realms. She is not affected by the law. Neither will Rex when he truly breaks from the Mortal Realm.
He made sure to tell her to change what he believed was right. She told him why that would or would not work. The day was slowly coming to a close.
He finally dropped Lilith off at the place the women were currently calling home. He walked outside feeling refreshed decided it was time to head back to the seal.
He did. The teleportation this time felt different. He imagined the area inside the seal and he was able to directly land inside on the bed beside the Queen.
When she felt someone intrude on her bed. She was quite surprised when it was Rex. She did not know how to feel that he landed right beside of her.
"Well, this was quite a shock. I am sorry for that." Rex told her trying to apologize.
She found it funny that he was trying after all that they had already been through. Yeah, the poisoning sucked. At least she was honest with the reasoning.
"Good evening, I suppose you are here to get poisoned again." She spoke in a loving tone.
Rex giggled as he felt the lovingly tone. He knew better than most that this was truly a way to enjoy the time.
"Yes. However, I also need to apologize to you. I did not realize that you truly took a beating from me last time.
Even though my visions truly hurt while I was poisoned. You made sure to keep me safe. For that, I have made sure that you and your people who are currently here are going to be living in a palace in the Ninth Realm.
Granted it will be under the guise of be servants to me. That is not relevant at the moment. I do need to make sure that the poison will not affect my mind." Rex told her.
She knew exactly how to make sure that he gets ahold of himself during the times of being poisoned. That would be the easy way out.
"When you are poisoned, although I took the brunt of the damage last time. You may not always have the keys to keep your sanity. While you are cultivating in the poisoned state. Make sure that three things never go berserk.
One your mind and power.

Three, you will have to figure that one out ourself." She teased him.
Rex did not know how to take that. He decided to just sit there and enjoy the ride.
The duo went to the other room. The Royal Knights afraid of Rex losing control again and forced the maids to all stay away in the farthest room. If anything happened to them, they would not be happy with each other much less themselves for allowing the loved ones to be hurt.
Rex got a small dosage of poison applied to his skin. The skin turned an ugly blue almost instantly but returned once the poison had been absorbed.
Rex began to see the visions once again.
