Margaret and Amber both walked through the town. They had done this many times already but they still wanted to see the town in full bloom.
They saw children laughing and playing. Their parents all watching with closeness because no one really trusts anyone. However, some demi-human children also wished to join.
Margaret and Amber decided to play with them. It had not been the first time that they were forced to do something like this.
The children immediately began to show their pride in demi-human's genes. Some of the other children decided to join in as well.
The parents were afraid but noticed how genuine their smile was. They watched as the demi-human children also accepted them in joining. They began to play Knights in shining armor because part of the children would take either Amber or Margaret while some others would then protect the other.
The two enjoyed themselves as they were carried to another part of the town and hidden. Once the children returned they would separate until all of the other was either captured or forced to surrender. If the Knights lost, the other woman would be forced to join the captured and be laughed upon for short sightedness. If the Knights won, their glory would remain for time untold.
This allowed the women to see the town in the sights of the children. The buildings were quite nice and the hiding spots were actually even better. Even then, the spots where they were hidden most people would not even look.
This gave the duo the chance to talk to the leaders and inform them of the possible hiding spots of anyone dared to cause trouble within the town.
Meanwhile
Liz, Violet, and Iris all were checking the fields. Although food could be brought it was still expensive as hell to do. Not only that, having a way to produce Qi Stones within the town was still a faraways off.
They began to check to see if the crops growing would grow big enough. A few of the farmers would increase the growth of a small section using Qi. It would help the lesser unfortunate people.
Even that was not enough food for all of them. It would at least be enough until all of the crops fully grew and could be used year round.
They began to check the outskirts to ensure that no beasts were attempting to move in closer. They saw tracks of different beasts moving around but nothing truly set in stone.
The trio headed back to ensure that the leaders knew.
Meanwhile
"Demons under my command. Those who are working stay there. Those who are free talk to me about what you have seen." Lilith would give this order about the same time everyday.
Due to the different shift working that Rex had explained to her long ago. This helped the demons actually get along with more humans and Demi-humans.
There were always different demons coming and talking to Lilith. She would write down everything that seemed important on one page and just natural conclusions on another.
She would thank the demon amd call in the next one before ensuring that everything important has been written down.
On this day, one demon came in almost worried. This caught Lilith's attention. She asked what was seen or heard.
"Ten different beasts have been either spotted or talked about near the fields. I went there during the night to watch. They appeared and measured the defense before walking away.
I followed them secretly but something dangerous spotted me and almost forced me to use my Demonic Qi just to survive."
Lilith did not like this what so ever. She had to ensure that whatever it was. The news reached the leaders in time.
"Take this news and my papers of important news directly to the leaders. They have little time." Lilith explained.
The demon nodded and ran out of the house.
A communication stone vibrated from Iris. Lilith explained what a demon had just told her. Iris knew that the tracks were the same beasts that they three had seen.
The trio hurried back to the town and explain with the demon that the beasts were indeed real.
While Amber and Margaret were playing. Amber noticed a paw print in a part of the town being developed. She examined it and believed it to be a predator almost on par with the tiger and dragon belonging to Rex. She came to this conclusion due to the Qi and smell of the track.
"Hey, Kiddos. My friend and I have to take care of some business. Please ensure that no one comes around this print and we will play with you all again soon." Amber told them.
The children were happy to be of help. They guarded it like their lives were on the line.
Amber went back and gathered the other children and Margaret. Once Margaret saw the track, she too came to the same conclusion.
The duo rushed to the leader meeting that would be happening within minutes. When the demon noticed all of Rex's women. He immediately bowed and allowed them to go first due to the hierarchy of the Demon Race.
All of them entered a room with all of the leaders who now seemed to understand that whatever was happening was a major threat to the town and possibly else where.
