Inside the room the leaders were already scared because of the entering. The demon was natural but the others were not. They called for the demon first.
"Hand us the papers from Lilith. Then explain why you came here with Master's women."
The demon handed the papers to the closest Demi-human leader who was also the closest on the right.
"Almighty leaders, there were rumors of beasts being near the edge of the town. I stayed up late to see if they were true or not. I saw about ten different beasts. I followed them to see where they went to. Before I could another beast extremely powerful made me instantly retreat." The demon spoke.
The leaders knew that this was no joke. They had know if that is why the women were here or not.
"Indeed it is. We saw the tracks of the beasts outside the edge of the town." Iris spoke.
This was there fear of moving from their original town. Now they have to worry about beasts.
"However, I noticed a track while playing with children inside the town. When I saw it and felt the Qi from it. I knew it was immediately a beast preparing to ascend. I wanted a second opinion and asked Margaret for it." Amber stated.
This caused murmurs to spread quickly. If a beast that powerful could enter without triggering any response from any person. It is indeed a powerful beast.
"Lead us." The human leader from other village spoke.
Altogether they went and looked at the print. They too noticed the Qi emitting from the print. The first clear sign that a beast was indeed close to breaking through to the Heavenly Realm from the Mortal or Demon Realm.
"Seems like the stories are true." A Demi-human leader spoke and looked at the children, "You kids have done us a great service. See us tomorrow for your reward."
The children were so happy that it did not matter about the reward just getting the praise was enough.
The happiness was able to be transferred to the adults and that made them want to protect them even more now.
"Truly a great sign." The leader of the original village spoke.
They all decided to head back and told the demon to get Lilith. Once the leaders and women were back inside the meeting hall. They now waited for Lilith. It was not long before she entered.
"Good. Now then, we need to set up guards. Lilith are any of the demons actually good at mid-range or even long range fighting?" The human leader of the original village spoke.
"Yes. We do have some instants that will allow us to fight at mid-range or even long range. However, for these demons I think that they are better at close range. It does take a lot of training to be able to fight at even mid-range." Lilith explained.
This caused worry to stretch on the human leaders' faces. The worst was over.
"I can call my personal army to ensure that we can nip this battle in the butt quickly." Lilith told them.
They did not want to fight with her army and cause many resources to be used. Especially since the future war would be even more dangerous.
"If you believe that not many resources will be used. By all means, call upon them. If the fight seems to shift to uncomfortably. By all means use your resources for the major war instead of this battle."
Lilith nodded.
"As for the big beast, we need bigger beasts to deal with it. Can Master's handle it?"
"Certainly." Iris spoke.
She would even ask them to deal with it before they fought against the other beasts.
"Good dismissed."
The leaders even went to their homes instead of finishing off more of the details that should have been done. Since the beasts were indeed a real threat. Getting some sleep, visiting family and friends, and ensuring that their bellies were full were the first priority.
The group headed their separate ways only to meet back up before the midnight hour struck and the beasts came charging towards them. The victory was quick due to Lilith's army. The beast that was trying to force them to unite was none other Rex's tiger.
