Chapter 1089 - Chapter 1086 The War in the Eighth Realm

Before the War started

"I need all women and children to come into the major city to ensure their safety." The Oracle spoke to the City Ruler.

The man accepted that fact and sent the message out across the Eighth Realm. Cities were abandoned, Sects deserted, and the worst part the city was not big enough.

That was currently fine for two reasons. First, with everyone close by the city can be expanded to ensure safety of the women and children. Second, it does help to only fight at one front but it is also their downfall.

Knowing how limited the supplies already were within the one city. Everyone coming brought all of their supplies to help keep the minimal casualties.

Since all of the healers would also be close by. This allowed for a better chance to actually keep the fighters at their best.

It was not a guarantee win but at least they would be able to fight without restraint. Crops were harvested before the War started, fruits from the trees were gone before the little creatures who nibble on them knew what had happened, some of the bigger beasts become mounts to ensure quick retrieves and retreats.

There were also beasts that were killed for their meat. The people dried it to ensure for long-term planning and for the children to learn as well.

The city had almost been completely rebuilt before Margaret, both Game Masters and the maids belonging to them entered the Eighth Realm.

When they entered. Everything looked like a ghosts had scared away everyone. Clothes discarded, houses looking like everything of true value was taken, and people hurrying out without a care in the world.

Seeing the direction that the people were heading in. Margaret decided to head in that direction.

"Everyone, I am going to head in the direction of the people who left. I know that is the direction of one of the major cities in the Eighth Realm.

Do you all want to follow me or stay here and see what scared the people away?" Margaret told them.

The two Game Masters decided to follow Margaret. There was one carriage left and four maids took turns guiding the beast to where the other carriages went to.

The bumpy road made the two Game Masters mad but nothing was sad. Margaret was curious as to why they would try to just leave everyone in one spot.

She knew that they would be better protected but did not think that it would become a good idea.

Although the carriage ride would have taken days to reach the city with the Oracle from their ran down city. It did not take but just a couple of hours.

Margaret knew all too well that something was wrong with this. She did not know why she was feeling that this was alright.

The two Game Masters stepped out first and Margaret followed. The maids who had been on the carriage, on the horses, in the seats to switch, and walking around the sides of the carriage surrounded the Game Masters and Margaret.

"Well, today is a pleasant surprise." The Oracle spoke from behind the group.

This caused them to actually feel scared. There was no way that this should have been possible. They had done their best to actually try to find him before entering.

Margaret decided to stop and have him come over. She walked out to where he was standing.

"Sir Oracle, today is a good day."

The Oracle smiled knowing that Margaret had come here.

"What brings so many women here today, Margaret?"

"We are the people in whom my husband, Rex has sent here to help protect the Eighth Realm." She spoke in a calm tone.

Thr Oracle was surprised but did not show it on his face.

"Tomorrow is the day that the War is supposed to start correct?" The Oracle asked.

"It could be or it could happen later."

The Oracle had already seen a vision in which a lot of women appeared before him. He was not entirely sure as to why it was happening like that.

Everyone also decided to follow the woman in charge and that would lead them to victory.

"Since you all from Master Rex, I take it that each of you know what role you need to play as?"

They all looked confused. Margaret knew that the Oracle had already assigned positions to the men who were going to be acting like foot guards.

The women walked with the Oracle. They were guided to where all of the rulers were and they sat down pleasantly.

They began their War talks. Margaret explaining that the other people around her were help for the War.

By the time night came, the women were too exhausted but at least they were able to get Margaret to be the leader in the shadows.

No one dared to stand against the Oracle in this matter. They were not ready to actually meet the War head-on.

The next morning came and the War started. The humans were able to get and early advantage. The advantages they had did not stay open for long.

More people got injured in the first day then the opposing side had deaths.
